Border Wall Thread (Merged)

You're preaching to the choir.

I was poking fun about agreeing with you in your previous comments (Trump/Mexico/wall) until the Rothschild > POTUS.

Haha to each their own. Me and you both know the president doesn't have all the power everyone thinks however

I find it comical how many trump lovers don't realize it's us the citizens of America who will be paying for the wall. Don't kid yourselves

I find it as comical as the Obama lovers not realizing the middle class is footing the bill for Obamacare.

This isn't the 1930's you know.

That leads to whole nother set of problems its amazing how many kids/teens don't know where or how food gets to the store or restaurant or the work it takes.

I'm sure up north and in these liberal city's that age stretches into HS kids maybe even beyond.

“Hundreds” of people are reportedly set to protest at Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Hawaiian $100 million estate in response to the billionaire’s large perimeter WALL and reports that locals were allegedly “harassed and intimidated by security” for walking nearby.

'Hundreds' to Protest at Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's Walled Hawaiian Estate - Breitbart

See this goes back to the flawed concept about the wall from those against it. We all (I assume ) have doors with locks or other ways to keep anyone off of our property or out of our homes. :dunno:

Then why is it wrong to have walls and ways to keep "Trespassers" out of our country?

If someone thinks that just anyone can come in to the US where they want, when they want.

Then by that logic it will be fine for any of these refugees or illegal aliens you know nothing about to come and go in your homes as they please to eat & sleep and do what ever with your family in the next room?

If you look at school lunches the last several years and the amount of junk food purchased with snap cards, a lot of kids don't even know what real food looks like. Is a can of soda pop a root crop or a tree crop?

Since Michelle O. did her "healthy" revamp a lot of kids throw away more than they eat or at least that is what someone connected with our local schools told me a year or so ago.

He said most of it has never been touched they just dump it.

Which also goes to another thing back to the government and FDA regulations. I saw a episode of 20/20 a couple of weeks ago about the "working class" and they talked to one guy working two fast food jobs morning shift at McD's & night shift at BK to feed his family and they showed him (at closing time) having to throw in the garbage cooked burger patties, fries, onion rings, tomatoes, lettuce etc. that wasn't sold.

He would like to feed his family that but he would have to pay for it. Instead he has to dump it. The waste in this country from fast food & restaurants etc. that has to do this everyday because of regulations. When it could be given to employees to take home or sent to soup kitchens or homeless shelters. :banghead2:

Fast food has a lengthy shelf life these days.

Only grocery stores in France so far, but restaurants are surely the next ones pushed for change.

Should It Be Illegal for Supermarkets to Waste Food?

Why the US may never pass a food waste law like France.

Oh I know how. I grew up doing it every spring as a kid. The point is I should have to become my President decided to get in a pissing match with Mexico.

I only see one

then you weren't looking hard enough, there's at least 2

1. opponents of the wall want open borders

2. opponents of the wall don't care about border security

3. opponents of the wall are fine with criminals invading their homes and having their families preyed upon in the next room

there was a lot of bull**** to read into cagle's response

IF so, it's well worth it. The middle class and blue collar have taken a beating because of cheaper labor. Look at any construction site and notice the large majority of Mexican workers. Maybe college grads are still finding work, but so many of the good paying construction jobs are gone for our children. At the very least, wages have been held down for the ones that do get work. We have immigration laws that allow for a percentage of people to legally come into our country. Enforce the law is all most of us are asking.

Really?

I'm betting those that can't see the common sense in what I said are the same ones that still can't figure out how Donald Trump is President and are also like those Snowflakes currently melting down at JFK.

Based on the this week alone the next 8 years is going to be awesome! :dance2:

If the wall costs taxpayers $15-$20 Billion to build then so be it.

It costs the taxpayers around $110-$120 Billion ever year in illegal immigration payouts.

F that.

Trump ran on the promise he'd build a wall and MEXICO would pay for it.

Time for the Human Cheeto® to put up or shut up.

MG, you should post more.

Whenever I occasionally do my list of VolNation posters who I think I'm not smarter than and whom I respect to prove to those who think I'm nothing but an arrogant cuss, I forget about you. That's not because of your lack of insight but simply because you post only so often, and I lose track.

We've had a run-in or two, I'm sure, but you're a much-needed voice of intellect and moderation on this board, and you should contribute more often if able.

I'll give Trump credit for this much: unlike other pols, he makes good on his promises.

The problem is that his promises will turn out nothing like his voters expected, and we'll be more insecure and indebted than before.

I miss the early days. Even when I disagreed with him, MG formulated reasonable arguments.

Quality ****ing poster.

Countdown to impeachment , way way to many conflicts of interest and lawsuits , not to mention a bat $hit crazy staff.

I would gladly pay for it, better than paying for lazy people's healthcare, food stamps or planned parenthood
