Bowling Green interested in Bajakian

Well depends how he looks at it. Is he trying to jump to a HC job as soon as possible? Or is he actually committed to trying to get UT back to where it belongs? I like to think it would be possible for him to be loyal to UT, to Butch, to the kids until he actually accomplishes something here. 5-7 isn't really much to hang your hat on in my opinion.

He needs to do what's best for his pocket and family. If he's loyal to Butch that's all good but having loyalty to UT I don't. Mainly because he can do a great job here at UT and be let go as soon as the fan base turns on him.

I'm still waiting for you to give me an example of a current commitment that he was the lead recruiter for.

I'm not at liberty to go into who is responsible for contacting individual prospects. All I will say on the topic is the "lead recruiter" tag placed on assistants by recruiting services is consistently comically inaccurate.

Is that the Butch Jones coaching tree or an Alabama family tree? Neither one has branches.IMO

I would say that Dana Holgorsen would be an awesome replacement but it sounds like WVU is giving him one more year.

I hated Kiffin and Ogre when they took off, but...they are both upgrades to Jake and Jan. Although I know it'll never happen!

Those two are NOT upgrades for anyone. Our program has its pride back, and we don't need those jerks coming anywhere close.

Jeez leave our staff alone. What does it take for teams to NOT come calling?

That is a vertical hire for Coach B. CBJ would not keep an assistant from moving up the ranks. That should be a positive for our program. And remember it is the best assistant program in America per CBJ.

Per Pete Roussel, Bowling Green is interested in speaking with Bajakian for their HC position. SIAP.

@coachingsearch: Bowling Green has already shown interest in speaking with Tennessee OC, Mike Bajakian.
Prayers do get answered, after all...don't they Tiny Tim? :)

that is interesting, sounds like he was the man for CBJ, it is just an offering from Bowling Green, but who knows ?

I do think it might affect recruiting,i don't know who he was the lead guy on or what he did behind the scenes, there have to be Offensive players that liked what he was doing and want to play for him, back to who knows again :)

do you think he will leave deerpark ? or is it a surprise to you also ?
