Bowling Green interested in Bajakian

Bulldog fans are a great source for fixing OUR program...keep us informed on their recruiting advice

They don't have to be a great resource. But just like we know Sunseri sucked, they know Janzek sucked. Plenty enough confirmation for me. Especially after watching our defense get molested game after game, this year.

Brady Hoke? Are you kidding? And he's done what at Michigan? Plus, there is no denying that our offense blew chunks under Clawfense. Do I think he was hindered by Fulmer to one degree or another? Sure, but it didn't work on any level.

If BGSU hires Bajakian, I will thank them personally. :)

Well it's not up to us, it's up to him. Guess we will wait and see.

I have faith that if he leaves, that CBJ will upgrade that spot, just like he has been doing on the recruiting trial.

Losing him might make us lose some top recruits so be careful what you wish for people.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

He isnt the strongest recruiter and isnt really lead recruiter on many committs. Wont affect the class I wouldnt think, plus Butch would bring in an OC that runs the same offense.

I havent read through the thread to see if this has been answered, but how do you guys think this would effect recruiting if Coach Jake is hired?

Absolutely. Have you seen this offense...THIS year? If coaching the Vandy game with his sphincter muscle frozen isn't a clear enough indication, then I don't know what would.

Guy has 3 giant WR's on the roster, and only plays one of them regularly...and instead chooses to throw to a kid known for having bricks for hands in EVERY SINGLE GAME...or midgets on the outside, on a fade route. That's pure genius. :loco:

Have you seen the players he had to work with on offense?

North played. Croom couldn't, despite his size, get around physical DBs. He should be a freak with his size, but consistently refuses to use it. I'm not really sure who the third is that you are referring to.

Josh Smith certainly had some drops in games, but "bricks for hands" is unfair, his biggest asset coming in was his hands. He had few in practice, and earned his spot on the field.

Pig Howard got those plays called because he was the only one other than North that showed the ability to separate from DBs.

I'd love to know how many practices you saw or what level of football you've coached.

He was playing walkons man. Jesus Christ.

I hear this argument(excuse)often

How many walk-ons are in the 2 deep on Defense?

I count 2. Toney and Swafford

The rest are all scholarship players, especially on the front 4 and Lbs.

So, with the two walk-ons in the secondary, why did we give up almost 1000 yards rushing in 3 games?

Please take him

Can't really judge him based on this year. We had our 4th string QB the last quarter of the season, had Fr receivers everywhere. Hopefully if he does go Butch brings in a better recruiter, not the best recruiter on staff.

No thanks. We don't need another Sandusky, here. That was his plea....teaching proper shower technique to kids. :)

My daughter had a coupla those players in one of her classes an said that "teaching proper shower techniques to kids" wasn't just a good thing, it was absolutely necessary!:yuck: shuuuweeeeee:yuck:

Hiring one with better qualifications would be...well....better. You know...the whole "I'm going to hire THE BEST STAFF IN AMERICA....pitch?

Might be a good opportunity to finally make good on that promise. Maybe make the OC at Baylor, Stanford or OK St. an offer that's hard to refuse (in the $1mill range?)

there is a lot of bickering going on for just an offer for coach Bajakian :) we need to wait and see if he accepts it or not

Most of those were to AU and Mizzou. The 2 teams in the Sec Champ and one playing for the Natl Champ. AU had close to 500 yards rushing on the best front 4 in the conf and 300 yards rushing on the best def in the conf in Alabama. Wasn't like those 3were teams that put up over a thousand on us were bad teams. All 3 up until the last 2 weeks were in national championship contention. Plus not having much offense kept the D on the field a long time and with no depth or speed its asking for disaster.

Look at the rankings of those three teams (assuming you're taking about Bama aub and mizzou)
