BGSU Athletic Department executives are widely known to be coaching talent guru's, seeing that they are such a College Football powerhouse and all. It's not like they don't breakdown game tape in their free time, to evaluate Head Coaching worthiness.Who would you think is a better judge of coaching talent, BGSU admin or the "experts" on VN?

Truth is, they are probably thinking...."hhmmm, let's see. It worked out great last time. How about we go back to the well once more, shall we? Those stupid UT fans don't even realize the pure genius of their OC, so we are just going to swoop in and snatch theirs once again!"
Yeah, hiring an OC from a 5-7 team. And one who simply coached scared against Vandy. That's just brilliant.
I agree with this, but times have changed. I remember when bowl games actually mattered and you had to have a great / very good season to even be considered for one. Going 500 now days, and going to any bowl is a joke IMO, and I don't care who you are, including UT.Well depends how he looks at it. Is he trying to jump to a HC job as soon as possible? Or is he actually committed to trying to get UT back to where it belongs? I like to think it would be possible for him to be loyal to UT, to Butch, to the kids until he actually accomplishes something here. 5-7 isn't really much to hang your hat on in my opinion.
Absolutely. Have you seen this offense...THIS year? If coaching the Vandy game with his sphincter muscle frozen isn't a clear enough indication, then I don't know what would. So a school that won its conference championship wants to hire our OC as their head coach and some of our fans think this is a good thing for us?
I'd be excited for Coach Jake to get a head coaching job and the accompanying raise, but that would in no way be a positive for Tennessee.

Guy has 3 giant WR's on the roster, and only plays one of them regularly...and instead chooses to throw to a kid known for having bricks for hands in EVERY SINGLE GAME...or midgets on the outside, on a fade route. That's pure genius. :loco:
Brady Hoke? Are you kidding? And he's done what at Michigan? Plus, there is no denying that our offense blew chunks under Clawfense. Do I think he was hindered by Fulmer to one degree or another? Sure, but it didn't work on any level.Urban Meyer...Brady Hoke...and now Dave Clawson...absolute numbskulls
