Bracketmatrix 2021-22

I think that is supposed to be referring to the Lady Vols. The women's committee that released their top 16 tonight.
Nevermind, they were actually talking about the AP poll coming out where the Vols were 13th. But they said the committee so I got confused.

Exactly but I was just wondering what made them tweet that specific info that we were 13th in the “updated committee seeding” as of today. Obviously that wouldn’t make any sense to drop us but ???
Maybe they saw the AP Poll and just assumed that was the committee seeding? I’m not really sure why they would think that. The NCAA only does 1 reveal per season so there’s literally no way they could have that information. Everyone can only assume where they have us at this point but my best guess is somewhere between 8-11

Thats what it was. The AP poll

Bracketmatrix ran a new update last night and we are now getting essentially tied up with Villanova for that 10th spot on the seed list, I’m also cutting off the 6 seed line in my list as surely that doesn’t come into play…

1. Gonzaga
2. Arizona
3. Kansas
4. Baylor
———
5. Auburn
6. Kentucky
7. Duke
8. Purdue
———
9. Texas Tech
10. Villanova
11. Tennessee
12. Wisconsin
———
13. Providence
14. Illinois
15. UCLA
16. Connecticut
———
17. Houston
18. Texas
19. Arkansas
20. Alabama

Without digging deeper into the numbers, it seems like there’s an opportunity to jump KY and Auburn if we win these next 2 and the SEC tourney.

Schmolik 64 Update (2/28/22)

I like S64's bracket the best of all on BracketMatrix.

I want to be in Duke’s bracket and end his career.
As awesome as that would be there is no scenario that did not include a double digit lead with a single digit game clock in which my BVS would allow me to feel comfortable.

Already witnessed the rigged Purdue outcome a few years back - not a glutton for punishment myself

Nothing to lose. Nearly half of TN’s minutes will be freshmen. AND if TN pulls the upset, the rest of the way will be setup with the easiest path to a national championship.

I'm assuming Kansas losing really doesn't change much in respect to us

I don’t think it does. TCU looking much better. Big 12 will almost certainly get 2 top 2 seeds. But who knows. Kansas could lose to Texas and get bounced in their tourney. Doesn’t hurt

If we win out including the sec tournament we could potentially get a 1 seed, it really doesn’t matter what other teams do
