Stevens should be the guy. Throw whatever money it takes to get him out of Indiana

So because you said don't take no for an answer dismisses the fact that he will say no? Interesting.
No. My point is don't take the avenue Hammy is used to, get told no and just move on to the second, third or fourth choice without puting forth a pit bull argument for the first choice.

Hamilton, save your job and completely win over the fan base. Make him an offer he won't refuse. If he refuses, make him another.

This guy is special.

Do you honestly think Hamilton gets told no, and he moves on? Don't be naive. Just because he gets turned down, doesn't mean that he along with others haven't just said oh well... next.

Is it bad that I'm hoping for a Wisconsin comeback win to make our chances at this guy more realistic?

How would a loss make our chances more realistic?

He would be available sooner and his focus wouldn't have to be on the next game. Could actually talk with him more easily.

Doesn't matter, Butler won and is headed to the Elite 8.

I'm sure if he's the guy Hamilton wants he'd be willing to wait for him if we had a chance.

Maybe the news media makes me appear to be naive in the football coaching search. They kept counting down the coaches that said no as the search wore on. Oh yeah, maybe I'm wrong about Stevens. He has a really bad haircut.

He needs to slick it back like the rest of his fraternity. Actually, I think the Riley/Pitino/Lavin/etcetera ad nauseum look is kind of bizarre/ creepy. It's the only walk of life where you can get away with hair like that. Where else can you be a dandy who has the respect of the common man?

if Arkansas can get Mike Anderson. Anderson told the hogs a bunch of times he was staying in Missouri but they didn't take no for an answer.

Because Hammy takes no for an answer. Well actually its the search firm that takes no for an answer.

I doubt he would ever go to UCLA. Even though the tradition is great, too far from where he wants to be.

All I'm saying is that with every tourney win, his status is approaching mythical proportions. It's hard to hire a mythical figure.

It doesn't matter what he does now, everyone knows who he is, and if you have an opening you want him.

He will wait for the Indiana job and once he gets it (and he will) he will bring them back to the promise land. The guy can flat out coach and has ice in his veins.

What happens if Tom Crean gets the Hoosier program back on track?

Words cannot explain how much I want Stevens to be Tennessee's coach.

I know this sounds crazy but I think we have to do whatever it takes to get Stevens in here... He would save the program.. Even if we have to raise ticket prices by about 2 dollars each to do it lol

Can we pay 5 million dollars for a b-ball coach? That kind of eye-popping figure would probably lure him over. I just don't think our administration is prepared to do that. And honestly, we shouldn't do that unless we're sure he can win championships (national) (multiple).
