Breaking news: LSU to face Alabama in National Championship Game

The only way to settle this is to have Bama and Okie state face off for the right to go to the championship game. Not gonna happen, but i would tune in to see Okie State's offense against Saban's defense.

Interesting. Is the winner of BCSNCG automatically the BCS Champion or can polls be recalculated? I really don't know.

It would be justice to see Bama win the game and lose the championship.

The outplayed them except for the scoreboard the first time. Missed field goals, freakish play by Reid is what stopped them from winning.

Also, Jordan Jefferson is awful. And Saban is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Miles.

The coaches have to vote the winner of the BCS title game number 1.

The AP can vote for anyone.

Oh, so points, fieldgoals, and exceptional play of one of the key players are the only things that kept Alabama from winning. Sounds like they were robbed to me.

Only because they had more points, and because Alabama missed fieldgoals (which everybody knows isn't really part of football), and some of their players played really really well. Alabama totally deserved to win other than those things mentioned.

as to why LSU beat AL in Tuskaloser...AL really played better but the kicker lost the game...so is that an excuse for other teams who have lost because the kicker missed a FG? AL really played better than LSU..oh, really, but they LOST the game. Maybe LSU was not having the best game, but they still found a way to win. I haven't heard anyone saying that the only game OSU lost was when they were grieving over the loss of their BB coaches in a plane crash. That is a legitimate reason for that loss in my opinion...I saw those players and they were visibly overcome. It seems unfair to the rest of the teams in this country to have LSU play AL again...AL allowed an unranked team to score 21 points against them...OSU won their conference..AL didn't win their division or their conference. The only good thing that may come from this is that LSU beats AL again so they will shut up.

You were originally trying to indicate that LSU beating Alabama was dumb luck because Alabama missed fieldgoals , had exceptional play from one of their key contributors, and had fewer points at the end of the game. THAT is why I was using hyperbole. Your statmenet made it sound like, in your mind, those things mean nothing in determining who the better team is.

Wont be watching. So much bs. Ive already seen lsu beat bama and dont care to see it again. Give them some different competition

I will feel bad for LSU if they lose this game by a field goal. Just isn't fair, they have to beat Bama twice and Bama only has to beat them once.
