Your imagination is exceptional. I never said dumb luck or anything remotely close. I believe Bama is a better team. Not a hard concept here.

I'm not being idiotic. We know 1 thing about Alabama and LSU: that LSU beat them at Alabama. You are using that fact as evidence that Alabama is better, which is idiotic. "They only lost because that one guy made huge plays and Alabama didn't make fieldgoals. Other than that, they were CLEARLY the better team."

Good grief, can you read? My opinion is Bama is better. Also, I never implied they were robbed.

Rest easy, easy reader. Since you are so sure LSU is better, should not be a problem for them to prove in New Orleans.

Just shows the BCS is a seriously flawed system when a team can sit at home, while others are playing for their conference championship, and still go on to play in the national championship to a team they already lost to at home. Ridiculous.

Pretty sure they already proved it............ AT ALABAMA. Oh, wait, winning a game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa clearly means that Alabama is the better team.

I guess the BCS is perfect, right? I mean, thw fact that a team can lose by four touchdowns in it's final game of the season and still play for the national title is perfect evidence, right?

Can't be the only one as a UT fan furious about VT being in a BCS bowl. We lose by 11 and get sent to Orlando in 01 while this craptastic VT team who faced an awful schedule and lost by 28 goes to NOLA? Screw this system.

I believe we have some confused in this thread between "moral" victories and an actual W or L. In the grand scheme of things, when the clock hits 0:00 and the other team has more points it means they are the better team.

Don't let the large number of UT's "moral" victories fool you. The goal is to go for W's.

ive read through this thread and agree with you. but you are trying to argue with people who are going to go against bama no matter what as a source of "TN pride".

i am no way a bama fan but the rematch will be a game of the best two teams and probably be a game very similar to the first one with the team whose defense makes the biggest play as the winner
