Yep, and to respond to lawgator, they knew storm was coming well in advance, and that storm could have wide range of impact from minimal to worst case. So they had time to have plan depending on each scenario. Even if it had been worse than what they got, they clould have played today or tomorrow again if they had planned like should.
I'm not surprised that you are ignorant as to the situation.
That you insist on commenting despite that is a bit surprising.

No, it's not.
People want what they want and they want it now.
And when it gets resolved and rescheduled, people will still ***** up a storm (pun intended).
If Tennessee loses to Alabama and if this game is rescheduled for 11/19 and Florida ends up running the table.....people will still whine and moan.
It's getting so bad at this point that I am starting to believe that is exactly what's going to happen.
No one gives a damn about pesky little facts or the details of this situation and what made it different.
So, let me get this straight. Florida is giving up its revenue from one of its 7 home games and sacrificed their biggest recruiting weekend of the year so that.....
This particular team would have a better chance (not even close to a sure thing) of making the SEC championship game where they more than likely would get killed.
Is that it? Do I have that right?
Recruiting would've been great when LSU came in and **** down UFs throat. Blessing in disguise to host recruits and not let them see the ass kicking.
You play UGA and Arky. UGA is slaw and Arky is beatable. UF absolutely punked out. Don't even try to twist this. Your program is full of cowards.
I like the bye week scenario because FL and LSU will have their bye weeks now vs getting two bye weeks during the regular season. Brings it back to an even playing field.
GA doesn't lose its bye week so it is all good.
That case TN should have demanded a bye week during this 4 game grind.
So, they punked out to avoid going 7-5 so that they can go 7-4.
Or perhaps, they can go 8-3 instead of 8-4.
That's the end game here. Is that the goal of this master plan?
When the game is rescheduled, you still won't be happy.

Well maybe you gators could post some facts? As of now your whole program looks like trash.
What I think looks like trash is people giving such a damn about a game that ultimately does not matter in the face of tragic circumstances that fortunately were not as bad as previously feared, but tell that to people that it didn't spare.
That's what I think.
This game may be played. I hope it is. I believe it will be.
When people attempt to give a damn about what happened and what people believed was going to happen instead of the effect on SEC football standings, I'll consider it progress
