Bruce Pearl is a better basketball coach than Kevin O'Neill

No, the piece of trash you worshipped got canned. KO told Doug Dickey to shove the UT job up his ass. There was nothing mutual about it. I do like when you engage in discussion. You do a brilliant job of showing how little you really have a clue about.

I have no idea what you are talking about with the worshipped comment.

I guess that's the story you got from your buddy KO. I'd expect him to tell it that way. Too bad for him he went on to suck at Northwestern. A good coach tells their boss to shove it when they find a better gig.

Keep on propagating your fantasy story despite the facts.

I enjoy exposing O'Neill lovers.

Despite hat trying to tell everyone otherwise, O'Neill did not leave on his own. He was encouraged to find another job. And he did.
Yeah, that explains the UT administration sitting in a Memphis hotel room trying to change his mind. Now you're just making a fool of yourself.

He absolutely would have been more successful. If a dumbass like Jerry Green could win big with his players, you can bet KO would have as well. He's obviously a good basketball guy; you just don't get NBA jobs if you're an idiot. But, he has propensity to get involved in controversy that has led to him being a coaching nomad. My opinion is that schematically, he is head and shoulders above Pearl; however, Pearl is probably better at motivating players.

Also, winning. Pearl is better at winning. Which is ultimately a coach's job. Thus Pesrl being a better coach.

Actually, that's the story John Ward and Pat Summit tell. If you got an issue, take it up with them. While you're tell some lies about what you think you know about what's gone on at UT over the years. My dogs know more than you do.

Yeah, I intentionally credited a post from one of your Pearl sucking collegues to you. It's part of a diabolical plan. I'm slick like that. You, on the other hand, prove that the stereotypes of UT fans as inbred retards with the morals of a barn animal are too kind.

Your a proven liar and continue to show you have no crediblility when it comes to analyzing coaches.

If Pearl took the same jobs in the same situation as O'Neill took them, his record would look much, much different. Also, Pearl will never, ever even sniff an NBA job.

Kevin O'Neill agrees (on who chose for him to leave, don't know about his opinion on the knowledge of hat's dogs),

The player's name was Isiah Victor. The issue was whether he should have been eligible to play. O'Neill said yes. Doug Dickey, Tennessee's athletic director at the time, said no. And that was that.

O'Neill left Tennessee after three seasons to become the coach at Northwestern. It wasn't even a lateral move.

"I acted young and immature and left before I should've," O'Neill said. "I made a mistake at the time."

It was Doug's way, or the highway. Kevin chose the easy path.

As for your dogs, they can run in traffic.

Clearly if O'Neill took over a 15-13 Milwaukee squad he would get them to the sweet sixteen. His record certainly bears that out.

It's not surprising that hatevol defends the impeccable character and coaching career of Kevin O'Neill.A$$HATS of a feather stick together.O'Neill and hatevol each have a 32% following but it is better than O'Neill's NCAA record Bwaaaaahahahahahah...........:eek:lol:

So you think O'Neil would've took Pearl's situation he was in when he first got here, got TN a #2 seed, beat Florida twice, and brought excitement back to the fan base that first year?

Yea, that guy that preceded Pearl really sucked. I bet he left the roster in just pathetic shape and is no longer in coaching.

I've never heard another person say this except for you.

The message is pretty clear when the athletic director tells you to either follow the rules set by him or leave and the coach takes a demotion job in a basketball wasteland. It's really not hard to see what happened.

Sure, Pat Summitt tried to talk him out of it, but the writing was on the wall.

But this thread is about what a great coach O'Neill is, right?

I have no idea. That's not what I was saying. I was saying if Pearl had taken over programs in the dumpster like KO has, his record would be much different. That's all.
