There are a lot of really dumb people on this board.
1. The NCAA could decide that the combination of UT's self-imposed penalties and the penalties from the SEC are sufficiently severe and not impose any further punishment.
OR
2. The NCAA could decide that the combination of UT's self-imposed penalties and the penalties from the SEC are not sufficiently severe. If this is the case, they will tack on additional punishment. But OF COURSE the penalties imposed by the University and the SEC are going to be taken into consideration.
I mean, Jesus tap-dancing Christ, how else do you think it would work?
I just chuckle when people view coaches as anything other than people trying to advance their careers. I mean, I'm sure he does enjoy UT as other people enjoy where they work, but its laughable to think he loves UT like jerry from Bulls Gap.
The argument that we shouldn't fire Bruce because we wouldn't be able to find a better coach is just plain ignorant. The issue of finding a better coach is irrelevant. Bruce has committed major violations, and Hamilton's blind loyalty to Pearl continues to embarrass the University of Tennessee.
I don't care who the next coach is, so long as Bruce is gone. It's time to start fresh.
wrong. wrong. wrong. you dont fire him and start from scratch. would take years for TN to get back to the success we've had over Pearls tenure. Look at what happened when we tried starting over in football
