But OF COURSE the penalties imposed by the University and the SEC are going to be taken into consideration.

I just chuckle when people view coaches as anything other than people trying to advance their careers. I mean, I'm sure he does enjoy UT as other people enjoy where they work, but its laughable to think he loves UT like jerry from Bulls Gap.

Suspect timing by Slive, but the right decision.

I can understand people wanting Pearl fired, but come on. First things first. Hamilton has to go. You don't want him making another hire at UT.

Im still confused why people are mad? I've liked Bruce since he's been here and still do but he lied. IMO, he deserves everything he gets. I believe he should be fired and I also believe MH should be fired too. I'd want the same if it were Calipari or any other coach. This is a major deal in what he did. I personally can't think of another time when the SEC ruled but hopefully it's in Bruces favor. I'll support him if he stays, or any other coach commanding my Vols but I won't shed a tear if he's chooses or is forced to leave.

If you are saying we should have not fired Fulmer, as I take you are, then your opinion regarding Pearl should be considered on that basis.

Tennessee has great basketball facilities. It wouldn't take that long at all. If the NCAA doesn't hammer Tennessee too hard, it can be turned around in a year.
