Bryce Brown allegedly on campus at UT, allegedly leaving Kan St (merged)

well if bryce left K ST. He could be ready to suit up this time next year...lol that would be a year sit out. So there you go. Id take him back if he was focused.. He cant be any worse than what we have now.. He gets a free pass from me.. he is what 18-19 yrs old.. ive made worse mistakes at that age.

The kid frustrated me because he does have so much talent. I didn't want him to be here since he didn't seem like he wanted to be a Vol. But in hindsight, from what I hear it wasn't him who made the decision. All that being said, I never want anybody to fail in life. Anyone see the Marcus Depree 30 for 30? Not that he is a failure, but it sucks what he went through and I think Bryce isn't just too far off from Marcus.

You can argue semantics all you'd like. Does not change the fact there are vast inconsistencies in how you judge the two.

And you were a Pearl apologist. You know it, I know it and folks here know it.

I don't see any similarities between the two subject or events. Don't know how you do. Bp isn't thinking about playing college football at a very important time under DD, which is the perspective from which I am looking at BB.
If you think a coach would be wise to bring him in, that's your opinion.

Yeah, I liked bp and what he brought. And yes, I said he effed up and had to go. If that's your definition of an apologist, then I must be one.

when all of this started occurring again i thought of marcus dupree as well. number one player in the country that just had too many people in his head. if bryce truly wants to be here, i say bring him back and let him earn it. it is not like this is a janzen jackson situation or anything. the guy has committed no crime.

I don't think BB actually can transfer back. You have to have two years of remaining eligibility to transfer to an SEC school. The question would be does that mean before or after a sit-out year and the answer is probably after. He's got 5 to play 4 and is burning #3 right now. Because he significantly participated with k-State he is not eligible for the "chage your mind" transfer back rule.

He's effed whatever he does, more so than JJ regarding his NFL chances.

Bryce Brown quit the team. Currently in Knoxville. I know there is a thread about this, just didn't see anything from the K. St. side. Merge if necessary.

Got some news for you: Were Bryce Brown still here, he would be our no. 1 back, without question.

That would be a major mistake by the coaching staff if it were to happen. His yards after contact was 0 for the year he was here. He never broke a tackle and would have never been productive for any SEC school. Go back and look at his videos and tell me that he was SEC material. Bill Snyder knows what he is doing and draws a paycheck for it.

Question is does he know where Dooley's Office is located. I mean he only talked to him through text messages.

That was the problem last time. He wanted to talk man to man but he got lost and was too much of a man to ask for directions. Wound up in Kansas somehow.:search:
