He said many times he has friends here, and loves it here.
And the sad thing is our fanbase has so many self-serving. judgmental, holier than thou, nitwits so eager to have Jerry Springer moments to vent their unjustified spite. Maybe BB was wise to leave this den of vipers who probably would have tried to lynch him if he fumbled just once or got stopped an inch short of a first down. There are days some folks here make me ashamed to be a Vols fan.
What's funny is BB hasn't uttered such venom at the UT but just the opposite. Clearly he has more class than the people who take every opportunity to beat him down.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WVLT) -- Former blue-chip running back Bryce Brown says he still loves Tennessee and that it was his dad's decision that he transfer from Tennessee to
Kansas State last year.
"I still go back to
Tennessee often," Brown said. "I built great relationships there."
Brown was the top-ranked recruit in the country when Lane Kiffin recruited him to play for the Vols. But when Kiffin left for Southern California, Brown and his parents decided it was best that he move closer to his
home of Wichita, Kan.
Brown met with new Tennessee coach Derek Dooley to inform him of his decision, and Dooley refused to grant him a release from his scholarship.
Brown recounted the meeting to reporters Saturday.
"[Dooley was] just making sure that this was really what I wanted to do," Brown said. "He told me he wished me the best of luck and [if Brown didn't want to transfer,] hey want me back.
"My
family wanted me to come back and I supported that decision. I made that decision."
Brown says he benefitted from his time in Tennessee and doesn't regret his time in the Volunteer State.
"I learned alot from Coach Kiffin and his staff and the players there and even coach Dooley," Brown said.
