Bryce Brown allegedly on campus at UT, allegedly leaving Kan St (merged)

Bryce Brown just ain't that good. He was highly overrated. If he can't play at K-State where can he play. Kiffin just played him because he was his recruit.

Maybe this will spark a fire under the current running backs, the idea of such a touted rusher possibly coming to the team, even if it isn't for this season, will encourage them to play hard and win their spot for next season

I'd say he's pretty much radioactive as far as playing at Tennessee is concerned.

That was 10-15 minutes of the most surreal radio I've ever heard. The best thing that could happen is for BB to go to a top level FCS school like Ga Southern, Chattanooga, Furman etc far away from his Dad and the spotlight and hopefully manage to get some semblance of an education.

This for sure. Guy has to take his future into his own hands, parents have failed for him more than once.

Agree with this 100% and just to add, if he is as talented as he was billed before this whole mess began with transfers and what not, maybe he can finally play some football without the external interference and bs and get himself an education, develop his skills, and not kill his chances to play in the NFL. Good luck to you BB.

Remember this guys HE NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE his dad made him he loves knoxville so lets take him back it could help our run game!!

What I hate most is when posters are like "HE should have been a man and told his dad to go away."

Like you as an 18 year old would have said that.

It's a terrible situation. I hope Bryce finds a college HE wants to go to and can get a good education, and play some football if he wants.

I would take him in a heart beat. He was excellent catching the ball out of the backfield for a true freshman. And it's not our our current backs are doing anything special. Dooley should use this as motivation if nothing else.

He's got two years of eligibility left after this year. You moved Neal to WR. You can use a back next year with Lane.

As I stated on the other thread - if he is willing to walk on and earn a schollie I would take him back immediately. The kid has the skillset. I would want to make sure that he told his dad to go blow first.

Yes we can and his name is Imani Cross, who might I add has proven as much at the college level as Bryce Brown at this point.

I doubt he has the luxury to go wherever he wants and get an education. Wasn't the whole sitting out a year at Kansas St a big deal because of the tuition?

Not sure why the U would be interested. He is no longer a 5* recruit and comes with a lot of baggage.

When I joined the military & was sent overseas my mom didn't want me to go but I had to. If I didn't I knew there would be consequences.

I'd take him back. He seems like a good kid. He had good stats his freshman year while playing injured

I would love to have him back as well, but I just don't see it happening.

I don't either. But it's really, really, really odd he leaves Kansas State and then comes to Knoxville within 24 hours, girlfriend or not.

When did Imani Cross run for 500 yards in the SEC?

Roughly half of his yards came in garbage time against WKU and Ohio. So technically he only ran for 200 or so in the SEC in 9 games. Just for the record I would welcome Brown back. I truely think he is a decent kid and not a bad teammate.
