I respect your opinion. I guess that's what I'm saying. It's something that can't really be proven because it won't happen. So, it's an opinion.
Pfft. Those backs aren't good. Right. How about 1st round picks Lynch and Jackson? NFL nobodies? I think my point stands that there are multiple examples of RBs that were star recruits, played in the Pac-10 and went high in NFL drafts. Arguments over what they did once there are verging into a new subject relying on a lot of non-college related factors (what team they ended up on, etc.).
Uh...because there isn't any news on Bryce Brown?

He started it.
Not trying to run Wheaton off, but he is stating his opinion why Oregon is a good choice for him. And us UT fans are stating our case.
No, that isn't what's happening. There's no way that debate can take up as many pages as this has. It's become an Oregon/UT comparison thread and it's asinine.
If it's not directly related to Bryce Brown, I think you should make a new topic and argue about it there.
I never said that it "entitled" anyone to do anything. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. Tell me, does bitching about people being off topic make things more on-topic?

I haven't said a word about it until now. AFTER several mods and the owner of the site said something. Are they "bitching"?
No. We all just want the easiest way to find the info we are looking for. Going off topic for the millionth time in a thread where it's been threatened to ban the next one who does is ridiculous.
3 things I know:
I'm not a mod
Neither are you
We're both off topic
Oh gawd it's true

What I would like to know is what is considered off topic?
If this thread is strickly for information purposes only, nobody should reply when someone posts information period. For no reason at all. I know that some of these threads get way out in left field, and they shouldn't. But discussing the pros and cons of BB going to UT or Oregon, or any other school is on topic in my opinion.
Having conversation about BB and his direct relation to a school is one thing. This, on several occasions, has become about the respective schools and has no relation to BB or his recruitment. It's been a pissing match.
Little did I know that by voicing that opinion, I'd become part of the problem, but after this evening, that won't be an issue anymore.
