Let's throw in 2017 in Gainesville too. I was at both of those . 2 of the worst losses I have endured in person since the 1990 Alabama game (the worst). Heading there this year with higher expectations.

I think one of the things that gets overlooked and underestimated is his poor leadership. He was a walking cliche without substance. Multiple reports have come out about he and his staff demeaning and disrespecting players in various ways. A lot of people hate Hurd but I don't. He just finally got enough of Jones and snapped. That was a public example of what appears to have been the effect of Jones' leadership behind the scenes.

He was a used car salesman plus he had a rare combination of UT homers and legacies fall into his lap. But again with no substance behind the facade... he failed. The last season was far more indicative of his ability both as a coach and recruiter than those 9 win seasons... and even in those he badly underperformed his talent.

Jones is a straight up con artist and will never have a meaningful coaching job again. He was exposed just like Doolittle and Bubba Gump.

Can't blame UT fans. Our fans do what fans of any major college program do. Just ask our current coach what UT fans are really like.

Butch Jones and Jarrett Guarantano is all anyone needs to know. It was the most miserable time watching TN get beat by Mizz by 50 points two years in a row.

He definitely is. I'm astonished he'd try to use that in a press conference. But I can't say we aren't reveling in his failure. I know I am. Dude has it coming after the Bama cigar pics thing.

Even Butch's coach speak colloquialisms he used with the media were embarrassing. I honestly think Butch is dumb enough to think he sounded smart.

I'm A-OK with our punter situation because after Heupel gave a little coach speak he said "He’s gonna be a really good player, . . . we believe he’ll continue to get better." Had Heupel babbled on about making sure our punter knows his 'individual assignments" and gets his 'mental reps' in, I'd be more concerned.

If you’re down by 2 after a touchdown you don’t kick the extra point, you go for two as if you don’t make it your going to at least need a field goal either way.

He didn't keep Kamara on the bench. Should have used him more, but isn't like he didn't play.

Kamara wins the Heisman, or at the very least is invited to NYC, if he's here in 2022.

Butch thinks WAY to highly of himself. I guarantee you fans hate Jeremy Pruitt way more than Butch Jones.

The reason Jones is catching flack is because he's the only one coaching a college football team losing by 73 points.

Jeremy Pruitt is in purgatory as a freaking PE teacher and Derek Doolittles job is to dry the sweat off Nick Saban's scrotum. There's no need for UT fans to talk trash about them because their lives are already trash
