Butch left something out of his remark: "We probably played the worst half of football ever BECAUSE I CHOSE TO PLAY THE WRONG QUARTERBACK--AND THEN KEPT IN THE GAME FOR THE ENTIRE HALF."

I like Jones--but that's what he SHOULD have said. If he had started Worley, the first half would have been better--no question about it. Florida was as bad as we were--and yet led us by 10 points.

Worley is not the answer, Einstein. And thus the real problem- we have no answer at QB.

Uhm, its Peterman. And I personally never said that we should start him today. I think Worley should've started today, and I did before the game, too. Then, if he doesn't perform, give Peterman the shot against a MUCH weaker South Alabama team.

I mean, Peterman gave us 3 impressive points in the game against Austin Peay, after scoring 45 in the first half with Worley. We had every reason to think he would lead us to victory in the Swamp.

There's been two pretty obvious errors IMO from this coaching staff this season.

Worley's stupid pass with a minute left in the 1st half against WKU, when we were up by a bunch and just shoulda ran out the clock.
WKU intercepted his duck and scored. STUPIDO.

Peterman's effort in the first half before the 'slipped out of his hands' throw. I called it, everyone called it on the VN boards--take him out. Even if he had 'the better week in practice' HE WAS CLEARLY RATTLED. WORSE, HE WAS INJURED, AS CBS LATER REPORTED.

Driskel had gone down, momentum as ours...

Then he threw that awful throw and the game was done.

That's inexcusable.

Uhhhhh no. Butch won't touch that one ever...I heard his show, and was outraged he didn't take responsibility for the loss. Dooley learned hard how that don't work with this fanbase.

Butch should take full responsibility for the loss. The crap he spewed on his post-game show was funny.

Peterman should've never been named starter simply based on his super-slow release vs. the speed/penetration of FLA's front 7. Any moron would know that's a recipe for disaster.

We should've ground and pounded the whole game, and let Worley get into a rhythm with short passes and reverses to North and Howard.

Florida gave us this game, and we gave it back.

Offense was out of sync all first half. Dumb move.
