Calipari Whining AGAIN!

Bottom line is he doesn't want UT coming into Memphis and beating them. To be honest, it makes little difference to me if we play Memphis at all, and if JC wants to end the series I'm sure there are other teams out there Bruce can play for exposure. JC is between a rock and hard place because he clearly would prefer to not play us at all if it isn't going to be in Nashville, but if he comes out and says how he really feels due to the recruiting differences he'll look like a pansy.

I aprove this message:good!:

Calipari remembers losing Tony Harris, Dane Bradshaw and etc. But looking at Memphis roster, there`s not but a few local kids. Cal recruits coast to coast.

Cal wan't the coach at Memphis when Tony Harris signed with Tennessee and he didn't recruit Dane Bradshaw.

I was just remembering some Memphis players there. NolanRobinson@ Arkansas won a NC with about 5 Memphis players maybe in 92?

You mean Cal was the coach when Tony Harris signed with Tennessee? Tic Price needs to return some paychecks.

I mean I am taking Ambien suppressants I`m not sure who recruited who. My typing is an Ambianic misadventureBy the way your friendship would give me instant street cred around the sheep. By the way, my avatar is a photoshop of John Belushi`s head on Patrick Swayze`s body. Snap!

Yeah, that's why he was saying the same thing when Tennessee was coached by Buzz Peterson.

I'm sure losing to Bruce Pearl and the Vols 2 years in a row in a home and home have nothing to do with it, but besides that I already pointed out the recruiting differential in the same post. You cannot convince me that he wants us any more now that Bruce can periodically come into Memphis and win. It helps Tennessee out way more than it helps Memphis when we play home and home and take the Tigers out.

1. That series was made for television.
2. They aren't obligated to play Gonzaga every year.
3. Memphis has recrutied multiple players from the state of Washington the last few years. Pretty sure the number of KIL players they have recruited is zero.

Thanks. The KIL is not exactly a hotbed for recruiting. Growing up in the knoxville area during the 70's and 80's i only saw a handful of Division 1 prosepects such as the Carpenter Bro's, the karns trio, and john johnson.

They recruited Jamichael Blair from Austin-East back in 2000 before he blew out his knee

Sending a couple of letters and taking a look does not equal recruiting a guy.

Well they "Scouted" him, not that that means much tho... i did see the letters coming to him my freshman year tho.. he had "scouting" letters from Memphis, Texas and UT
