OK everybody, we have a calender too. We all know that its January. Its not march, were sorry that it isn't. (Sincerely, wish that was a sweet 16 matchup) But it is what it is, and were going to be EXCITED!!! That's our job, we are merely FANS guys. Obviously some will let this get their hopes up that we shouldn't lose another game, so be it. Shouldn't take away from the biggest (single game, to clarify for ya) win in mens UT bball history.

It's a great moment, and we should celebrate it. But it is what it is, a regluar season game in January. We start conference play Wednesday night, so it's time to move on.

+1... Don't forget all the great reasons you get why they don't need to answer your questions! That lawyer bs is my favorite, like there's some judge that is going to throw my argument out for illegal search and seizure.. It's great to have CBP rub these trolls' noses in it. My only question, how does a guy with a free office ticket to TBA convince all these mods that he's a UT fan, when he's actually just a poor replica of Dennis Miller on MNF?

I would never joke about Hat and his playmates. The win over KU did solidify the stupidity of constant Pearl bashing. We may lose 7or8 down the stretch due to depth and fatigue, but obviously Pearl can coach basketball.

Why is that obvious? I am thrilled with this win, but that doesn't mean I am pleased with his performance in March - and really, that is all that matters.

If it's all about March, braniac, then this does matter, because even an idiot knows beating the #1 team helps your seeding in the tourney, which is very important if you want to advance. This lack of comprehension on your part is exactly why I told the other guy you aren't worth explaining things to.

Winning in March does matter. I agree totally. But you still need the 20 or more wins to play in March. Pearl has been pretty reliable there. Maybe this is the year we go a little further in the tourney. Who knows. I'll be rooting us on. Beats the he.. out of having to root for UTC, Memphis etc.. scratch memphis.

I hadn't read anything about the officiating I was beginning to think that I was the only one that thought it sucked which is nothing unusual for the VOLS.

We won't have a problem making the tournament, but if Pearl can't learn from his previous trips then he doesn't deserve to be running the show. Other teams constantly go deeper with less talent. Making it to the second round won't cut it.

Beating number 1 is wonderful. I hope the team plays this hot through the winter and we take out another number 1 UK team.

This is where I'm coming from. We have all these no class, 'new money' UT bball fans on this site that weren't alive for the toil of being a UT BBall fan for the last 30 years. Anyone who was knows a Sweet 16 is f'n great and even making the tourney used to be unheard of. I remember countless consecutive years where our only shot of the NCAA's was to win the SEC tourney, which we didn't. CBP is the best coach UT has ever had by far.
