I was ecstatic about the win yesterday, but for some reason people like you think you know it all about what it means to be a fan. And I wasn't bashing his record, I was pointing it out to you as to why a lot of people do not think Pearl is an elite coach. Nice try, but I do not need your approval of how good of a fan I am.

I haven't seen a post of his all day long, yet I have been posting in these threads throughout the day. Wouldn't it be smarter of me to post in a thread he was actively posting in or quote him if I wanted to get noticed?

Well, some people invoke the so called "haters" to come out when they make threads called "Calling out pearl haters". So I would say they were provoked. Think about it. There's plenty of blame for this to go around

I know what you're talking about and agree it was reason to be excited, but it's another regular season win. I'll be acting as if we've arrived with the one that cements an elite 8 entry.

No, I get it. You don't. I wasn't going to say anything about this game because I was happy with the win. I left out of this thread earlier because I knew this was going to happen about how this is somehow something more than a regular season win and I didn't feel like arguing. However, I am disappointed in myself that I let morons drag me back into this

Beating No. 1 is great. But lets not act like the rankings in NCAABB are the same as NCAAF. Tournament play is all that matters at the end of the season.

This is twice you've made this silly assertion as if you've stumbled onto something genius. Here's a hint: you haven't. It's absurd. I'm a UT fan. I want us to win. I want us to win when it matters, which we have never done.

I'm not covering anything, since I don't give a rip what you think. If you have something basketball related to make me believe our guy coaches teams that win when it counts, post it. Otherwise, just stick to silly amateur psychology, but take it to the pub.

Tournament play is NOT all that matters or they wouldn't play the 30 or so regular season games.
