How is beating the No. 1 team in the country meaningless? Whatever happens from here on out, this game is plenty meaningful. It's one that will be remembered for a long time if you're a true fan. I still very much remember the memphis win from a couple years ago. The way that season finished has ZERO bearing on how I felt about that particular game. It's not often a team beats the No. 1 team in the nation, with only six D-1 players for crying out loud. Stop hating and enjoy it!!
yeah, you pretty much are hating! disregarding a win over the No. 1 team in the nation is the very definition of hating, but whatever! can't wait till march so people can eat some crow!!!Not hating, am enjoying. Some of us desire to have this feeling in the NCAA tourney, and some are fine with having them only during the regular season.
I'm pretty sure that he never said that Peterson was a better coach. Some fans are more demanding of their team and would like to see championships instead of flameouts at mid tournament. Nothing wrong with that.
