It remains to be seen if this is a very good football team.

We might be,but wet haven't shown it yet.

I would say I mis the 90's but who am I kidding.

We lose lose like this in the 90's also.

That is what I see...5-7 record.

Vandy taking ranked team to 4th quarter tied.
USC is much improved
UK actually beating USC
UGA will be a blood bath

LSU is potential bowl-clenching win with what I see from Miss. St. right now.

They've been had a better coach for a very long time, with the exception of the Zook years.

and i'm actually pretty calm. all things considered. i did actually see a lot of good.

unfortunatley...it doesn't translate in to a win. again.

With the exception of Bama who is good enough to beat the Vols...we have a 2 year win streak versus UGA...have only lost once in 20 some years to UK...usually beat SC...Mizzou is terrible...Vandy will be a revenge game...and LSU is getting crushed by MSU tonight...we are in good shape.

the season certainly isn't over....but in the anals of winnable florida games....

this may move up to #1 on the list.

and florida isn't very good. and we have good players.

stj has been saying all night in various threads that we lost cause of mistakes....correctable mistakes.

he's right. i'm just tired of learning lessons as we go......learning the hard way continually says something may be wrong with the teaching.

anywho...the season isn't over, there is a good team somewhere in there, and they've shown signs of it.

but a lot like last year, will we ever see that "good" team put a complete game together, when it counts???

i can't say i'm confident.

Lol. You're entitled to your opinion. But its predicated on falsehoods. UGA is more talented on both sides of the ball. Last year was one of those fluky, once in a lifetime games. SC beat us last year and there is no reason to believe they wont again. We do own UK. We will beat Missouri. I dont have confidence that we can beat Vandy.

The major X factor in many of these games is coaching. And unless you are just ignoring reality, we dont have good coaching.

I think we will lose the following games: Bama, LSU, SC, UGA and Vandy. So that gives us wins over: GT, ISU, Southern Miss, UMASS, Missouri and Kentucky.

Agreed! That was my expectation and everyone on Vol Nation before the start of the season 8-4 to 10-2. Hard pill to swallow because we let this one get away! LSU looks very beatable now and GA has not been.very impressive either. We still have a great shot at the East so everyone needs to back off the ledge.

The Vols are on schedule to reach 8-4 as predicted. However they could beat UGA and LSU and hit the 10 win level.

I got a new phone and spent the last ten minutes guessing my password to log in and just share in the misery that is losing another game we shoulda had in the swamp...outside of Tuscaloosa..there is no better place to win on the road Imo..and they really seem to be far and inbetween.all L's suck a** but that one is gonna sting for a while

Our HC and DC are worth less than a cup of portajon water. We will only win SEC games vs KY and Mizzou!
