Cincinnati is not exactly a D1 powerhouse in basketball, FTR.

Here's the biggest difference between Pearl and Cal, talent. Cals teams are alwasy more talented than Pearls

I think Pearl can coach but sometimes he likes to "overcoach." Like on Saturday we were going toe to toe with Kentucky and Melvin Goins was starting to heat up. He hit 2 or 3 shots in a row and then missed, he had really been working hard on defense to keep Wall in check. All of a sudden Pealr subs him out and Wall has a spurt and UK wins. This all happened around the 10-12 minute mark. Some coaches really out think themselves and I believe Pearl did at that point.

Now back to this talent thing, Cal can thank World Wide Wes for alot of his success. WWW has gotten him players that he may not have gotten by himself. Most notably, Rose, Evans and Wall. WWW is a fixture now at Kentucky as much as Cal is. Remember when Lebron was at the Kentucky game, who got him there? Cal or WWW? This guy is unbelievable with his connections and getting in peoples ear. He can recruit for Kentucky all year and there's nothing the NCAA can do about it. I bet he knows where Hoffa is buried.

As far as which coach I would rather play for.....Coach Williams at UNC. They're down this year but that man can coach em up
