As I mentioned in another post, yesterday‘s inexcusable performance definitely puts him on the clock! I think for sure we’ve got him for 2 to 3 years. Hopefully we make the tournament each year and he decides to retire as best case scenario! There is considerable value and credibility in his regular season consistency, but not his consistent post season flops! However, other coaches will see it as a great opportunity knowing that they could do more than him in Tourney! Be patient VolNation, be patient!!!!!

Hopefully he retires this offseason or the 2022 offseason.

If he was willing to take the UCLA job last year I doubt he would consider retiring this off-season however coronavirus has changed everything so we shall see! As disappointed as I am I would like for him to stay one or two more years because of the recruits coming in! We need stability for a while.

What 2/3 names you got with better postseason success that would take the job?
I would take someone on this list of possible possibles i posted yesterday

Rob Lanier Georgia State head coach
Paul Mills Oral Roberts head coach
Steve Forbes Wake Forest head coach
Craig Smith Utah State head coach
Jerome Tang Baylor associate head coach

Mike White Florida head coach

Sometimes the game passes certain head coaches by and i think that's happened to Coach Rick Barnes.

Yet Barnes had a more successful season than everyone of them except Mike White....

As a member of the most tortured college fan base in the history of earth, I’ve figured it out. Whoever you pull for will lose. So if you want a team to lose, just pull for them. They will be guilty by Tennessee association.
This might be the answer. bamanation(dot)com... let’s go Freak, make the change
