CFP Show implies Ohio State to Orange

I would be shocked if the Rose Bowl passed on Ohio State. Way too big of a brand to pass up just because they’ve been to Pasadena two out of the last four years.

Hell, Ohio state and USC was practically an annual rivalry there in the Woody Hayes - John McKay years.

I don't think the Rose Bowl would select PSU over OSU if given half a choice. I am not sure who OSU is lobbying at this point.

Even so, if the worse happens and we end up in Citrus, then the silver lining is that it makes for good motivation for the team to not screw around next year like they did this year. When CJH said that "this one needs to hurt", I think he really means it. Everyone on that team that comes back next year will know that you can't take a single snap off - or you end up in the Citrus bowl rather than the CFP. That is how fine the line is at this level.

I want to know why they didn’t ask the spokesperson about us being below Alabama. It was the only questionable ranking in top 8

I want to see Tennessee win and go 11-2.

Not play a real team, when we're not full strength.
I’m with you on that. I don’t think they can beat a quality team in a bowl with Joe at QB. I’m sorry I just don’t some of the people on here can attack me for my opinion that’s fine I don’t care. He’s a liability in this offense isn’t very good.

If we go to the Cotton I hope we show up on a mission and hang 60 on our opponent just to make them look stupid.

Yup.

Tulane is a fun team to watch.

Also we can run on them and our defense is good enough slow them down enough.

Why do so many of you all want to see Tennessee get demolished with bobble head Milton at QB??????????????

That's not how this team should end this amazing year.

We beat a Vandy team that had nothing left and wanted the season over playing in the cold rain.
And now so many of you all are fooled into thinking we're ACTUALLY at top 10 caliber team still.

I think the way to 11-2 is playing Clemson in Orange Bowl. They will have opt outs also and their QB has trouble passing. Tulane or UCF probably won't have opt outs and it would be their Super Bowl.

Other than being a nice venue with a decent matchup, if the Vols aren't in the CFP, then I don't care where they play.

The 'Orange versus Orange' Orange Bowl Game sounds like a marketing no-brainer to me.

A rematch with Penn State in the Rose Bowl would be nice to see.

That said, anywhere in Florida would certainly be enjoyable, as would Jerry's World. I've only ever seen pictures, but heard its nice.

To be quite frank, at this point I am just waiting for next year now. This year's bowl game is just icing on the cake.

Vandy was playing for a bowl against the team they hate most. They are just not good.

UGA falls to 2nd or 3rd depending on TCU and Michigan game. TCU, UGA, and UM games basically meaningless at this point aside from seeding in the CFP. All 3 are in. The only game that really matters is USC/Utah.
If tcu gets beat handily in their conference championship then they are not in. I can't see the committee choosing tcu over Ohio St if both are 1 loss teams without a conference championship. I think osu gets in at 4 at that point and plays uga

I’m telling y’all get ready for chaos. LSU beats Georgia, Kansas. St beats TCU, UTAH beats Southern Cal it will be LSU, Georgia, Bama and Michigan in final four now if Michigan loses it might be us or Ohio St probaly Ohio St since they have one loss

well that would probably happened if they play Tulane there is no way they would be up for that game, and I’m not to sure Clemson could be them .

If LSU beats UGA, they end up in the Cotton Bowl. If OSU gets the Orange Bowl and Bama gets the Sugar Bowl... that leaves us with the Citrus Bowl against 8-4 Illinois/Perdue. It would be an utterly disappointing way to end the season.

If LSU beats UGA they are guaranteed the Sugar. The Committee would decide which of UT and Bama goes to the Orange or Cotton. UT likely gets the Cotton as Bama has played bowls in Dallas the last two years.
