Maybe the boosters needs to stay out of it since they had a big part in hiring Kiffin and Dooley. How'd that work out for us?

Boosters didn't have a 'big part' in hiring Dooley. Timing and Hamilton panicking was the big part in that.

Either would be better than Dooley...that goes without saying. Hiring those two or promoting Chaney, From a PR standpoint, does send a weak message about UT's commitment to excellence. I still believe UT is an elite program.

To play with and win against the big boys, you need a big boy coach. Not seeing that with golden or strong.

Charlie strong is proving me right, He is without doubt the most overrated coach out there...He is padding his resume with beating creampuffs and I might add losing to a bunch of creampuffs as well...He gets an SEC job he will be fired within 3 years.

Find me a team that finished ranked at the end of the year that Mullen beat. And Strong beat that team that score 500 points last year in the Orange bowl.

So the only way Charlie Strong would've been a good coach is if he went undefeated in the Big East? Why don't you go look at every SEC coach right now and look at how many awful losses they had. You also forget he inherited a situation by a coach worse than Dooley.

See I knew you would go there..You always avoid the question and task at hand...I win once AGAIN...You are defending a coach with a 23-14 record and who has played NO ONE with losses to teams with losing records in a super weak conference...Keep making yourself look silly...I'm loving it :eek:lol:

Actually, it's 23-14. And avoiding the question? Which one have you answered about Mullen? Oh, remember what you said about Muschamp when he was a candidate for the UT job?

Strong plays in a super weak conference, but guess what it's not like he's playing against them with SEC talent. How many times did Meyer win the MAC? How many times did Sumlin win the CUSA championship game? How many times did Les Miles win the big 12? How many times did Nick Saban win the big 10?

I never said anything about Muschamp when he was a candidate for the UT job...not that I remember...I know I liked his fire and drive but wasn't sure about his HC ability due to him being a career assistant coach his whole career....Mullen is winning with other teams rejects, not many people want to go to Miss St...I mean be realistic, You ever been to Starkville?

So why do you like him? What do you think Strong is winning with? He is winning with the rejects of the rejects in Kentucky after inheriting a disastrous program.

as I pointed out earlier, strong is neither an elite recruiter, nor even has as good of a record as chavis in dc duty. he is currently having his only good year, and his personality comes off completely wrong. terrible hire and terrible fit.

if he is winning with ky rejects, u are kind of admitting a lack of recruiting prowess.
