There's nothing to preclude him from getting a student visa and attending UGA. Milllions of college kids work part-time jobs and accrue student loan debt. America shouldn't be financing the educations of foreign children. Our line of credit is tapped out. There's 15,000,000,000,000 reasons we can't afford it. :dunno:

Yes, there is. The policy precludes him from being admitted unless he comes up with documentation. He cannot attend any university in Georgia.

Athletic scholarships are not funded by taxpayers. At UGA they are funded from the schools athletic association which is funded by donations and endowments.

I know it wasn't his grades, but if you read his interviews at all, it seems pretty clear that he won't play AGAINST the bulldogs. From the various interviews I have read, it appears that he is working on getting it straight and still wants to play for UGA.

Appalachia is filled with American citizens that have no original birth certificate because they were born at home. Still happens all the time. Half of my aunts and uncles had no birth certificates until they went to college because they were delivered at home without a doctor. Back then all you had to do was go down to the county health department with a statement from a parent and they would order your BC for you.

On another note, the reason our country is such a mess is not because of illegal immigrants, but because of the shocking lack of sensitivity and compassion by people. There are some seriously self-righteous, ignorant people in our society.

One can only hope that their indignation provides a modicum of joy for them because that is all that can come of it.

Get off ur high horse! Notice the 3 fingers pointing back at u when u call others self-righteous and ignorant. Name calling can go both ways. People like u and the PC police are just as bad if not worse than the ones u accuse. Just different sides of the aisle. Illegal immigration is a major issue as it has allowed a large amount of our population to get lazy, and now it's a generational deal.

If u really had compassion for the people that "have" to come here then u'd complain and put more effort in fixing the situation of their native country. Not trying to fix and change this great country to their needs.

I see that this is a simply fixed problem theoretically, but I can only imagine that the red tape of it all is just as difficult to navigate as anything else involving our fair govt. these days.

Pretty much anything involved with the DMV in TN is BS. I hear ya there...I've never seen such a terrible system as when I was in Memphis. That was ridiculous.
