Chicago Group Asks Gang Members Not to Shoot People Between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Native Sons, a group from Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, is asking that gang members pledge to cease fire from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily so no one lives in fear of being shot while going about their day-to-day activities.

I also like how they broke down the bigger cities. East Chicago made that list, as did Oakland and Stockton for San Fran.

mean while when you look at Homicide rates, Chicago is number 8.
Cities with the Biggest Homicide Rate Problems

the point has pretty much never been that there were zero nice places in those cities, just that most people aren't going to go beyond those nice places, and when you get beyond those nice parts of town the cities like Chicago and San Fran, and yes even Birmingham, get really bad, really fast.

A disturbing video circulating on social media shows a group of young Chicagoans attacking a Tesla while police watch nearby during a weekend “street takeover.”

The clip, which has garnered more than 20 million views on X as of Monday, captured a group of presumed teenagers punching and kicking the vehicle, which appeared to be trapped in an “out-of-control street takeover,” reported the New York Post.

The video shows the unruly teens posing on top of the white Tesla while flashing hand signs to the camera. The driver then lurches forward, sending the group off of the hood of the car and into a fury. They respond by beating the body of the car with their fists and feet.
