Moore is nowhere near as capable as Nico, hence why he's the backup.
ZERO chance with Moore to beat GA.
* I guess that one pass INT was JH holding the Nintendo controls...
I think he will be playing. Just a gut feeling but I believe Heupel when he said sitting him the rest of the game Saturday was strictly precautionary.
That being said, should he not be available, I have faith with a week to prepare him and knowing how Heupel knows Gaston Moore, that he will be well prepared for Saturday. Whether it is Nico or Gaston, don't have to win the game for Tennessee, just don't lose it.
The QB for MS State, that we held to 92 yards passing, had 300 yards passing against Georgia. On 37 pass attempts, Georgia had ZERO sacks. He ran the ball 5 times for 15 yards. Have you watched Gerogia play?Kirby feasts on QB's that sit in the pocket. You just can't do it against his defenses. Oline will break down some even if you're blocking fairly well. If Moore plays he'll have to run some.
Sometimes you're injured (high ankle, concussion, etc) and sometimes you're just hurt. Lots of collisions in football. If it hurts, it becomes pain tolerance. If it's an injury, the medical staff determines what would constitute further injury.Open question, why are most injury scenarios subject to a protocol and med staff clearance before a player can play while occasionally a player leaves the game barely able to walk and returns a series or 2 later as the announcers say, “What a huge heart for the game this young man has, he just refuses to sit on the sidelines,” suggesting that in some cases the player makes the call.
The spread wouldn't be sitting at 10 if he's playing. Not the way UGA has looked in recent weeks. More like 4 or 5 point spread. It’s funny watching these posters overreact when Heupel knows damn well Nico is playing.
To be fair he had a huge chip on his shoulder from being at LSU and they never gave him a chance to play while there. Plus it's not spoken about enough but that Tennessee team was furious. Fulmer wanted the game rescheduled because there were no hotels for the team to use because FEMA and them all loaded from the hurricanes Katrina and Rita that hit back to back. LSUs president refused to reschedule so Tennessee had to uncharacteristically fly down same day. The situation was strange with the Erik Ainge goalpost situation. Credit to Rick Clausen for getting whatever motivation he needed to get it done.Did you ever see a guy named Rick Clausen play qb on the road at LSU?
You think CJH would risk his job because of a players NIL deal?Moore is the backup because Nico is being paid large amounts of money to be the starter. Doesn’t mean Moore isn’t capable.
I didn't say that Price gave an indication either way. Just that I'd pay more attention to him (or Fallica) than Josh Heupel when it comes down to it.Fallica, along with a lot of people in sports media, are Vegas’s voice. They can and do use those folks to push the public betting in specific directions. It’s not misleading, it’s influencing.
Price didn’t say he didn’t practice in that video.
