People like OP are why I stopped going to church. Say only God can judge them while judging everyone else they interact with. Y'all are just as narcissistic as the big guy is claimed to be.

They will throw you under the pew for not sitting on the front row or missing 1 Sunday but call them out for making church a social scene or only coming when they need a “little more status” and I’m the devil?

Don’t drink alcohol
No sex
No tattoos
Go to church Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and both Services on Sunday
If your not in the choir your not a real Christian

It’s all bologna.

Looks to me like the OP simply supports our new HC and his character traits. Not only will Coach Heupel coach on the field but will serve as a mentor and role model off the field. I'm not sure why the OP lauding Coach's off-field interests is offensive to you.

There are so many churches out there. It's unfortunate that some run people off with their actual or perceived stances. I promise that they are not all like that.

If I go to “new age” churches it’s all about money
If I go to standard churches I’m an outcast as soon as I walk through the door. The hypocrites flock like vultures to a dead animal.

My lord and savior does not care

• Whether I wear a suit or come in worn and torn clothes.
• Whether I put $1 or $100 in the plate
• Understands that I’m not perfect
• Is forgiving
• Won’t send me to hell because I don’t sit in the first pew, sing every song, or sing in the choir.

There’s more than 1 way of doing the lords work and it doesent involve a building.

Yes, I agree with your listed points. My church agrees too. The only thing I will add is that a church is not a building. More of a support system.

I got a good chuckle out of that one sanefan, thanks. I do appreciate everything the Lord has done for me, and you might find this interesting: My first wife was but of modest bosom, but still, when we got divorced, I was unhappy and so I prayed to God if he could find me a new wife to please let her have big ones, and eventually he did answer my prayer. So there's that.
