Has Jolette ever been a head coach? That's the only thing that bothers me. Sounds a little Holly-esque. Lifelong assistant, good recruiter, what could possibly go wrong?

OTOH, it does make sense, esp if Jolette actually aspires to be a head coach.

We've been told recently that the NIL problems are coming to an end. Hopefully a healthy NIL bag is awaiting the new coach.

Why a white male, for what purpose? Make a hire to make a small portion of the fanbase that wants a white male happy, GIVE ME A D### break. I would much rather have WNBA experience seeing how the women's game has morphed into the WNBA as far as rules.

That was then and this is now. Walz really screwed the pooch on the NIL part of the game. He had Cambridge locked down, she had her sister in place and her family said a NIL agreement was in hand(isnt that illegal). Next thing you know she is off to Ohio St. Van Lith is starting for LSU and she was one of his starters with NIL money. Is that really what you want?

Cocky and classless. Team looks like they are looking for the skateboarder park which is okay for a skateboarder but not a team from a major university. Team taunts opponents and throws middle finger to opponent’s fans. That little exploit made ESPN.

Per Jolette, I see the point but Holly was Holly and Jolette is Jolette. Just because one did not work out does not mean that history will repeat--though who would be upset of the new coach got to the elite 8 and won the conference in year 1 (the Holly completely flopped narrative is not exactly true).

I honestly think the next hire is going to be an assistant. The "big fish" ain't likely to swim in the LV pond. The columnist who floated the USC coach needs to lay off the CBD gummies.

Almost all of the more plausible names are not that much on better than Kellie on better, if it all. (Heck even Kenny Brooks, if you take out his potentially fluke final four season, would not look like a homerun hore over Kellie).

Honest q - what kind of NIL do the Lady Vols have? Less than the football and men's BB teams for sure. We're now 12 years post-Pat. I genuinely don't know the state of the program outside the W-L.

LOL, I'm going to say those burning mattresses in favor of a white male coach are pretty small in number.

I just wish everything except ability to recruit, win, and be an upstanding human being would be forgotten this time around. No demographics please!!!
