At every stop he’s made hires that elevated programs. Odds and in favor kind of thing. He may not have hired vitello, but hes the reason Vitello stayed when LSU came knocking. It wasnt just a raise that was promised, it was an improvement in baseball facilities aswell. DW knows what hes doing. There is a reason he was one of the best ADs before coming here.
Yes, it was a desperation shot in the best of circumstances, with a very slim chance of being made. So Kellie dared her beat the odds, and made it as easy as humanly possible to do so by ensuring Raven had an easy, unhindered passA lucky 3 point bank shot that the player would not normally take or make.
The 70,500 season tickets sold with a 5,000+ waiting list and all of the sellouts agree with you that football performance is not acceptable. After all football was selling out long before JH and DW got here so they get no credit for the turn around in ticket sells. NOT…The attendance was shameful before they got here. What you can’t accept and are being crazy is that Football is progressing and at best WBB was staying middle of pack or regressing depending on what kind of rabbits she could have pulled out of portal hat…..Believe in Danny White plan he put in paper
He says he wants to compete for National championship/SEC championships
That's only championships Vols fans care about
At Two of Tennessee most winning National championship programs
Tennessee football six National championship
Women's basketball Eight National championship
I would agree it is going to take money to fund both appropriately but with the right coach NIL will follow. But “1.1“ seconds says you must have a very good coach to use players appropriately.I know many will disagree but unless you can get one of top 3 biggest names in women's basketball you are better off spending more on NIL getting the best players instead of the coach at the women's level. One player like JUJU and for next 3-4 years you can finish in top 5. 2 of them and you legitimately can go toe to toe with Dawn Staley and any roster she places out there.
Omg let the conspiracies fly! Glad to know it’s coaches not playingView attachment 631503Really hope Danny gets this right.
What insults? I haven’t seen them. Of course I probably missed them…You are joking, right?
The insults may not be as bad or as numerous as those toward Holly, but they're there nonetheless. And they are not "facts."
She pits men vs women in nearly every post. I said once that gender shouldn’t come into consideration when choosing the next LV coach, and she twisted that into me saying that a woman cant get the job done and we need a man to take over. But didn’t he make unquestionable progress in 18 months?
if he doesn’t improve going forward then you have valid points.
That's it, in a nutshell. Not that KJH was far, far away from relevency, she was 1.1 freakin seconds away. And not just that one time, but so many times, esp this year. Just could never quite get the wagon over the hump for a million reasons. Most of them having to do with just not enough elite players. While I don't think the SC game alone was "it", I do think that image sealed the deal that she was probably never going to get it done. Really sad to me. So close and yet so far.Didn't bring in enough talent and--here's the heart of the matter-- couldn't make us nationally competitive. Actually, we were nationally competitive--but we always ended up losing. Losing to SC was not fatal; her inability to beat anybody in the top 20 was.
That's good news. I've wondered what the interest level would be. I think several things are going on at the same time by the time you get to interviews, preliminary contract talks, etc. Encouraging that the urgency is noted and addressed. I'm optimistic we have a coach by the end of the week.No that is not what I said. I said initial negotiations starts thru the agent to see if the school and coach can realistically come to a contract agreement, $, etc. If so, then the real negotiations start with said meeting. It appears there must be interest from more than one coach, thus the Atlanta meetings begin.
I wouldn't really put a timeline on in season success yet, numbers of wins, etc. Of course it's going to take some building. But what I do expect immediately, like next week, is some kind of recruiting success. Own players or prospects following, portal visits start, etc. The whole point of this hire is better recruiting and it needs to start yesterday, no reason why it can't. At least show me some immediate movement. We'll see - with the firing he has put the expectation out there that whoever takes this job has 5 years to be challenging for a NC. If the program is the dumpster fire some of you think it is - that may be an impossible task for any coach.
I’m curious who would ur list of coaches be? Me n u usually but heads when it comes to Women’s basketball (not so much the other sports). I owe u an apology for not having faith in ur field expertise. truly.

You brought it up at the end of your post, but guard play under Kellie was atrocious. I don't know how many times Powell took a dumb shot and then you knew immediately she was going to either foul or give up an open 3, and Kelly still played her time and time again. My only disagreement here is that Kellie actually had ELITE players. I think at the core level it was poor fundamentals that did her teams in. How many years have we been complaining about turnovers? breaking a press? I could say, "it's 12 seconds till half and Tennessee has possession" what happens next??
We all know.. our guards dribble it up and turn it over without getting a shot off. The talent was there (this year and last) it was just greatly impacted by mediocre coaching in moments where we couldn't close out a win.
What genitalia a coach has is really important to @LucyHe's been here 15 minutes. Gone to the Orange bowl and beat the streak against our biggest rival. Silly post is silly.
He's also recruiting top 10 classes unlike Kelly.
Either that or really poor trolling. What genitalia a coach has is really important to @Lucy
Her issue with heupel and Barnes is that both have a penis. The reason she likes Harper so much is because she has a vagina.
Her agenda is wild as hell to me, and i’m a lesbian lol
