Coach Kellie Harper fired

Even as heartbreaking as it was how things were handled with Kellie, CKC had nothing to do with that. Kim is our coach now and we owe 100% support to her, her staff and our players.
We knew you’d come around. And it was handled appropriately under the circumstances of not winning. The victims seem to forget that part. Don’t blame the one who had to do their job.

@chuckiepoo watch this Chuck anthro source.

Whatever happened let it go. You guys in hiring outside the old tried and true and eclipsed coaching tree are on the way up ; and your return to the forefront can happen quickly. Yes UConn. Welcome back from someone who thinks 1995 was yesterday. P.S. Dawn will never eclipse any major LV or CT stats.

Would SAm be just as good as Lazo?
Interesting question, we'll never know. We do know the change has been great for both. Both are having their best recruiting years in ages. Of course Miss St had further to go in recruiting and their class is nowhere near the quality of the LVs, but still they're having their best year in awhile. I guess all's well that ends well. Good for both.

Met a guy the other day who's known Lazo for a long time. I didn't realize how fast he has zoomed up the ranks. He was a high school coach about 7 yrs ago. He's going to be a head coach someday, just hope it's not soon.

I'm 80 years old. I'm not a blue hair though, as I am totally bald. I try to avoid the blue haired people like the plague. I refuse to read AARP crap. When at a social gathering and the group I am with starts discussing their ailments or naming all the pills they take, I get up and find another group. Honor the past, but clinging to every old tradition and comparing every coach to past coaches is not productive. We do not live in the past. We live in the now, and, hopefully, most of us will live when a very bright Lady Vol future becomes our now.

She already has. What’s up with the negative waves man? Nm, you are a Connie and are already resorting to pettiness. GL this year, peace.

I have a recurring dream where I am captured by a group of angry Vol Nation posters who I have offended (and the list is looooong). They tell me it's time to die and I plead, "please, please don't throw me into that deep pit of whoopie pies right over there--that would be a fate worse than death!!!," They then throw me in and I have to eat my way to freedom. starting from the very bottom of the pit. For the record, this dream is not a nightmare.

Your penal servitude will require copious quantities of a Maine libation.

When the salivating ghouls arrive, let us direct them to The,Times Literary Supplement, a.k.a., the TLS.

But let us not forget TLS, a Brit periodical. The November 15 issue, per the back page Nota Bene column, reports on the shortlist for the Diagram prize for oddest book title of the year.

Candidates include "How to Dungeon Master Parenting" by Shelley Mazzanoble; "Killing the Buddha on the Appalachian Trail" by John Turner; "Looking through the Speculum: Examining the women's health movement " by Judith Houck; "The Philosopher Fish: Sturgeon, caviar, and the philosophy of desire" by Richard Adams Carey.

The first winner in 1978 was Proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Nude Mice (University of Tokyo Press).
