He currently has the #75 ranked class. Get real. The audience watching each week? What the hell?I’d say getting the #2 ranked player to Jackson…plus the audience watching each week speaks for itself. Getting kids like Boo Carter on campus while they are committed to a school line Tennessee is another step in the right direction.
Todays game is now recruiting the portal, we don’t have to like it, it’s just how it is.
Real is talking about Deion on a Tennessee message board. Audience? How many Colorado games have you watched prior to this year. He can be 75 all day, recruiting HS kids is part of it not the only way.He currently has the #75 ranked class. Get real. The audience watching each week? What the hell?
It was expected by those of us that enjoy what he's doing but are classified as being on the "Prime train" by his haters just because we don't hate on him.If you know anything about Deion he’s never humbled..this was expected by everyone who wasn’t on the Prime Train. The person who needs to be humbled the most is his kid, wearing a $10k watch during warmups is ridiculous.
Their "audience" does not have jack $hit to do with my point. Deion has not proven himself to even be an adequate recruiter.Real is talking about Deion on a Tennessee message board. Audience? Just hosted the #1 2025 recruit.
It is not hating to be skeptical of the job that Deion is actually doing for Colorado. Mike MacIntyre went 10-4 at Colorado in 2016 .... I will be shocked if Deion ever even does that well.It was expected by those of us that enjoy what he's doing but are classified as being on the "Prime train" by his haters just because we don't hate on him.
Of course, the race card would eventually be played. That was predictable. His shtick is getting old fast. He intimated in an interview the reason opposing coaches are calling him out is his race. He left room to deny that’s what he said by saying to the interviewer you know why they are calling me out and you can say it. So he didn’t say it directly because he wanted to be able to back out if the comment. I hate to tell him but he’s not the first black coach or even the first black coach at a major university. Race has nothing to do with opposing coaches calling him out. It’s because his shtick is getting old.
You don’t think HS kids watch college football? College game day when Colorado has had coverage each weekend? He’s created a buzz and he’s created excitement…look how many times you’ve commented on it. If Colorado is talked about of tv, Twitter etc that means another program is not. There is an old model and then there is the now model that is being created with the portal and NIL in all sports.Their "audience" does not have jack $hit to do with my point. Deion has not proven himself to even be an adequate recruiter.
Recruiting high school talent effectively is the only way to sustain success for any significant duration of time. There is no model for building a successful college football program with nothing but transfers.
... and if you are calling someone a good recruiter only from who they get visits from, rather than who they actually sign, then there wasn't a better recruiter from 2013 to 2017 than Butch Jones.
Your argument is complete nonsense.
he gets the same reaction as Kiffin, for the same reason. and it isn't because Kiffin is black. His shtick is getting old fast. Well, Prime had them believing....... Now he has to guide them through being humbled.Someone definitely got murdered on Saturday night. It damn sure wasn't the Ducks
TCU win helped accelerate the hype. Oregon and USC back to back brings back reality of what Lanning was saying the “Cinderella story” is over.Well, Prime had them believing....... Now he has to guide them through being humbled.
Oregon was just better in every facet of the game.
That's going to happen to Colorado more times than not in conference play this year.
There is a perception, which you seem to have bought into, that Deion is doing something special for Colorado right now ... but is he really? You don’t think HS kids watch college football? Yes, and here's where it gets difficult for Deion. He's always just been the guy that suited up and made it happen. Coaching is very different. You have to build a culture, he's created a narrative, now we will see if he can build the culture.TCU win helped accelerate the hype. Oregon and USC back to back brings back reality of what Lanning was saying the “Cinderella story” is over.
College football is all about money now. Deion is bringing the money to the area and to the school. He's probably brought more revenue to the Denver/Boulder area than any previous CO coach. There is a perception, which you seem to have bought into, that Deion is doing something special for Colorado right now ... but is he really?
In 2016, Mike MacIntyre (who would eventually be fired), went 10-4 with a 41-38 road win over Oregon. They also beat Colorado State convincingly. They didn't play either TCU or Nebraska that year. At one point in the 2016 season, Colorado was ranked as high as #9 in the country. What Deion is doing right now, is not unprecedented at Colorado. I think it is being overblown, because he is such a great former player, and he has such a flamboyant personality.
I didn’t say he’s doing anything except bringing exposure to the program, from audience to future players from HS to portal taking notice. I’ve stated he’s a coach in name. No reason to bring up MacIntrye, Barnett, Neuheisel or McCartney those coaches didn’t take over a 1 win team in the playoff era. There is a perception, which you seem to have bought into, that Deion is doing something special for Colorado right now ... but is he really?

Follow the money. He's successful. He's a pain to listen to for me but he's getting the job done. The job at CO, at any school, is no longer to bring a Natty but to generate revenue. It's a business. He's an ass but he's good for business.
Deion Sanders Is Already Paying Off For Colorado After Just Three Games With Ticket, Merch, Ad Sales Way Up
Colorado officials knew that Deion Sanders could sell the school, but I don't think hey imaged it would be this quick.www.outkick.com
LOL. You are deflecting from the results on the football and the recruiting trail. All of that instant revenue is short lived, unless there is sustained success on the field.College football is all about money now. Deion is bringing the money to the area and to the school.
