BS. I'm not saying Trump isn't corrupt. I'm sure he has plenty of skeletons in the closet. But acting as if the Clintons aren't dirty as hell is pure fiction. They are the most corrupt politicians of this generation. With all of their allies protecting them, nothing has really stuck, but anyone with common sense and no political slant knows they're guilty as hell. Especially Hillary. Both the left and the right like to pretend their **** don't stink, but those of us in the middle know it stinks to high hell.
I have no doubt Trump has done bad things. But I don't think he "colluded" with Russia. And thus far, Mueller has yet to produce evidence that he has. For all the dirt he's digging up, none of it has to do with "collusion". And while the left seems to be enjoying the **** show now, I can't help but wonder how they will feel when subjected to the same standards? Precedent is being set on how far one can go to unseat a sitting President, and I don't think it paints a bright future for anyone who should win the office. As much as you may dislike Trump, these kind of investigations becoming the new norm will hinder our country. And don't be foolish and believe this is a one time thing. The parties will continue these tactics to try and undercut each other when the other is in power. And when arguments are made to oppose such investigations, all they will ever have to do is point back to this investigation to justify how far they are willing to go.
I've never been against impeaching Trump if it could be proven he was complicit with the actions of Russia. But from the beginning, I've been against Mueller having free reign to dig into Trump's past with impunity. The investigation should have had set limits, not to protect Trump, but to protect justice. Mueller may very well bring Trump down, but will the long term consequences be worth it? I don't think so. It would have been much more judicious to let him serve his term, then run a better candidate against him. The problem of the left is they still fail to recognize their biggest mistake was running Hillary. It speaks volumes that when all was said and done, the American people saw Trump as the lesser of two evils.
