Turning around a basketball program can happen in one class with the portal. They have a decent core of everyone stays and stays healthy.

Just think about what they'd have had this year if everyone stuck around. KD Johnson, Sahvir Wheeler, Tye Fagan, among others. That's at least a competitive team.

The media making a big deal about it is kind of comical considering they are playing Duke next…it’s almost like they don’t want any possible upsets. It’s not like the ACC suspended Grayson Allen when he was tripping players almost every game

Yes. The guy easily outmuscled him for rebounding position because he was a lot bigger. Buddy didn’t like that and reacted. We’ve all done something like that at times. Not a big deal in my book. But Dad trying to spin it into something it wasn’t is my beef.

Personally I think he should be suspended the next game. When you resort to throwing punches, that's crossing a line, especially when it's a cheapshot like that. You don't like he boxed you out, pay him back the same way later. But throwing a punch because you got bested? That's a b**** punk move.

Damn that sucks for Iona. One reason I hate conference tournaments for these smaller conferences. Can’t imagine the MAAC makes much money from their conference tournament, and they lost what was clearly their best team from competing in the NCAAT and possible 13 seed and instead will probably be sending a team to the play-in game

I wish they would reward the regular season champs in those smaller conferences. They have basically made the regular season meaningless unless you are a bigger basketball conference. It’s very unfortunate.

I wish they would reward the regular season champs in those smaller conferences. They have basically made the regular season meaningless unless you are a bigger basketball conference. It’s very unfortunate.

Some conferences have at least adopted the seeding system where top 2 seeds get a triple bye. Only gotta win 2 games.
