There is literally no excuse to have two losing seasons in a row in basketball at a program like Louisville with their resources.

You have the transfer portal at your disposal every year to get experienced talent to fit your system

This is true, but UT football has double the resources, minimum, that UL basketball has. UL’s height as a program came because their atheistic department was so broke that they pulled money from their endowment fund (illegally) to support athletics. Under the watchful eye of the NCAA, they don’t quite have all the resources that many may think.

Anybody who believes Kenny Payne was in a win, win situation at Louisville is delusional.
Should have at least 5 years to establish what he desires to accomplish and bring in his type of players.

Good luck to the next coach that goes to that semi bare cupboard..

I guess I don’t know what was really going on with Louisville were they heavily sanctioned by the ncaa when he got there I am confused and I’m not trying to come off rude in anyway but you seem pretty upset by this news?

Because looking at what Lamont Harris did in year 2 at USCe I can see why Louisville might want a different coach but like I said I could be completely off base due to not knowing the context

I will wait and see on Paris, yes he has had a great year. Though Dennis Gates pulled the same season at Missouri with a team full of portal players last season, how did he do this year?

I just don't think 2 years is an adequate amount of time to judge a coach, hell Stackhouse is still at Vanderbilt lol.
