I will say that UNC is now 8-3 in Q1 because of the NC State win yesterday, compared to our 7-6.

However, they are 6-3 in Q2 to our 6-1. So I guess it depends what the committee values, more good wins or fewer bad losses.

It is worth pointing out that UNC's résumé took a hit with the Clemson loss, yesterday. They are no longer a Q1 win for UNC.

We should also gain a tiny fraction (1 NET point) and an extra Quad 1 win, if we beat Quad 1 (neutral court) Miss St compared to UNC beating Quad 2 (neutral court) Florida St. If I understand correctly.

It is, but if you look at the quality of the wins, 5 of them are between NET 35-73. But 6 of our Q1 wins are between 6-22. The 7th is 50.

It’s all just going to be dependent on what the committee values, which we have no idea.

It would be great if Florida could make a deep run to get them back to being a Q1 win... not sure how much it'll matter when its all said and done.

It would be great if we could get an 8th Q1 win. We’d be even with UNC in quad wins and maybe our SOS, even though it’s filled with a few more Q1 losses, will give us the nod over them.

Depends on when the Committee makes its decision. If they have already seeded the 1’s, then it won’t matter lol.

Would really help if UNC and Zona lose ASAP. Generally think the 1 seeds are determined already, but there isn't much separating us from them in terms of resume
