I would say dead ball once the ball hits the ground, but I believe if someone heaves it all the way across the court and it comes up short but then bouncees in the goal, the shot counts so long as the ball bouncers before the buzzer sounds. IIRC, if the ball hits inside the arc it's a 2, so that leads me to believe that it is counted as another shot somehow.
I don't even see how this could even happen (what you're talking about) , but if it did I think it would be the same thing.
Would have to leave the floor before the buzzer sounds.

I’ve always thought 7 conference wins was the magic number to make the dance so I think UGA and Arkansas are now locks, which means 12 SEC teams will be in. Texas has to beat OU their last game to hit that mark. While the SEC is crazy tough, I don’t see the committee letting a team in that went 6-12 in their conference. 7-11 is the floor imo.

Surely not. If they finish with the same record, there’s absolutely no comparison between their schedules. I can’t imagine they’d reward thrashing bad teams, not with Auburn having 10 more Quad 1 wins than Duke. That’s an insane gap.
