Colts/Pats thread........

back it up OLD CASTLE:yes:
see below.
If I may jump in here, until this year Peyton's WRs have always been much superior to Brady's, but Brady always found a way to win.

Another thing, tread lightly bashing Newcastle.:p
thank you. it's not exactly a sin or stupid to utilize what Bob Kraft gave him. Moss, Welker, Stallworth are the best WR's he's ever had, and we're now seeing what he's capable of with an arsenal as good or better than what Manning has.
Yes, Manning certainly does seem to shy away from the media spotlight.
i agree, but it is in a much more "average joe" kind of way.

i saw Brady's Presser last night and he looked like he was on his way to a BOSS photo session. Peyton definitely has the "i could be your neighbor down the street" kind of thing going wheras Brady has the "i'm the guy you hope your daughter never dates" kind of thing going on.:eek:lol:

Good point, and I agree. I was just picking on FV. :)

so, any thoughts on the game? is Harrison going to be back and at 100%?

can the colts D keep up with Brady and co.?

is the Pats D any good, considering who they've played?

i think that's a good point......the AFC east is pretty terrible. i'd have to look to be sure, but i'd say Indy's schecule so far has probably been a little tougher than NE's........does that matter though?

How dare you back up a team who deflated the skins.
:p
I think it is pretty obvious what is happening here. Gibbs is sandbagging so that the Patriots will take the Skins lightly during the inevitable rematch in the Superbowl. The Skins will then rain their vengeance down on the Brady Bunch. A brilliant piece of gamesmanship.

so now we're back to picking players/teams based on whether or not Volwindy thinks the qb is cute or not.

great game break down........:ermm:

Your just mad Carolina has no cute players.

Not so fast my friend! Matt Moore is cute, but he doesn't really play. But really thats what happens when a team recruits 90% old farts.

Besides there aren't many qbs that are good looking besides Brady, come to think of it, there aren't.

Looking forward to watching the "Superbowl" myself. Hope Peyton plays well, hope for a close game. Maybe the Colts get it by a feild goal.

Windy, you are one of my newest heroes. Don't get too excited because i have a bunch of them, but there is no reason to like Peyton Manning just because he's a former Vol. You don't have to be a Travis Henry fan, a John Henderson fan, a Cedric Houston fan, a Jason Witten fan or any other Vol playing in the NFL or elsewhere. You hit the nail on the head. I root for my teams current. That's all I care about. Unless the Redskins draft or sign a former Vol, I could care less about rooting for them. Me and tclowers already got in this argument way back when, so I'm not going to delve into another round of it, but go Pats. Can't wait to see what Brady can do against the Colts now that he finally has legit receivers.

I would find it funny to see the Colts beat the Patriots just to hear everybody backtrack about how great the Pats are. I don't think it will happen, but it would be funny if Peyton now becomes the thorn in Brady's side.

It shall be a big game indeed. If Harrison can play this week and get some catches in, that will help the colts some. Reggie Wayne is becoming the next Harrison and Dallas Clark is doing great this year as well. So add Harrison back into the lineup this week and they are right on par with NE's WR corp. Without Harrison, NE has the edge there. The QB's are very close, but I have to give the edge to Peyton. He had a horrible first half last week and came back, so Hopefully he Is hitting on all cylinders and it should be a good game. Joseph Addai keeps impressing me every week and the Defense is improving through time. It should be a great, close game this sunday.

WOOHOO!! :dance2: I thought I remember seeing a thread about this before debated with people on both sides, but I couldn't remember for sure. I guess we are in the jealous club together along with tclowers :birgits_giggle: I too can't wait to see this game and what Brady can do. I think they will do quite well, and I hope so too.

I'll root for Manning and the Colts, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots run the table at all.
