Colts/Pats thread........

WOOHOO!! :dance2: I thought I remember seeing a thread about this before debated with people on both sides, but I couldn't remember for sure. I guess we are in the jealous club together along with tclowers :birgits_giggle: I too can't wait to see this game and what Brady can do. I think they will do quite well, and I hope so too.

I'm not jealous of Captain Stats over anything. I just can't stand people that tell me I have to root for him because he's a former Vol. Do they not realize the number of former Vols in the NFL? Go Brady, smash the Colts

(for the record, I'm still in an extreme case of mourning over what Brady did to my beloved Redskins yesterday)

I'll root for Manning and the Colts, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots run the table at all.

After getting caught cheating, I'm pretty tired of them. What have they won? 3 of the last 6 Super Bowls? And everyone acts like there's no problem. The team that has dominated this decade may have done so dishonestly. I know supposedly everyone does it, but come on.

I could not agree more. :clapping:

So now we should just discredit everything they did and what they will do? Move forward and just let them play!

It seems like millions are ready to do that with Barry Bonds. Why no outcry against the Patriots? Bill Belicheck at least an equal jerk to Barry Bonds. I'd say he surpasses him.

You already see that I'm a brunette, I've never colored my hair, too much money and too much time sitting at a hair salon, so no thanks; Graduated with a 3.8 in College.
Yea but your school grades on a 1-10 scale :)

Teams that are scoring points like the Pats are, usually wind up running into someone willing to smack them in the mouth. Then all of a sudden everyone is asking where all those points went.

Colts are poised for mouth smacking. 31-21 Indy.

yeah, i see that. and also, the way NE has been scoring, it's real easy for the defense to look good up by 30 and the opposing team is forced to flinging the ball all over the park.

i'm very interested to see what happens if this game is close or Indy is leading late in the 2nd half.

Patriot O line is good, but not as invincible as they are being portrayed. I really think Indy's D can rattle Brady's cage enough to make it hard to have time for that deep one to Moss. Let's face it, stop that play, and the Colts and Pats are virtually identical.

If they can eliminate that play, and add Harrison back in, I think the Colts can do it. Harrison has been out a couple weeks now with that bruised knee and has 1 TD catch. If he's healthy enough to get some good catches in, the Colts have the advantage.

Moss will find a way to make the play, thats just what he does. I do agree with ya, if you shut him down then Colts and Pats are about the same. Pats 35 Colts 21.

Moss is the big play guy, but to me, Welker is one that makes a difference in keeping drives alive and making that "big" catch too. reminds me of Stokley for the colts in seasons' past.....

I'll agree with ya on that Jake. Wes Welker makes plays when the team really needs them. He is ONE of Bradys weapons. :hi:

there's just a lot to account for with the weapons at Brady's disposal. i don't think you can realistically expect to cover each one and be successful against them.

as cliche as it sounds, you have to get to Brady. you don't have to sack him per se, but you need to disrupt the timing, hurry him and make him make quicker decisions.

now as to how you do that.........well, uh, if i knew that, i wouldn't be talking to you yahoos that's for sure!:p
