Colts/Pats thread........

I predict Pats cover in this one...

And ultimately that Belichick, big a jerk as he is, uses this season to dominate, and win every game by such a margin that it proves beyond any doubt that cheating wouldn't have even mattered because his teams are just that good.

The Pats are pre-salary cap Pittsburgh, Dallas or San Francisco. They're the '01 Miami Murricanes. They are simply the best right now, and Belichick will capitalize on this season to prove himself as one of the best football coaches of all time.

If all this happens as you predict, he will definitely move into the one of the greatest of all time category. My question is, where does it put Mr. Brady?

I unfortunately won't get to see the game... but a big part of me hopes this game looks like all of the other Patriots games this season.

After getting caught cheating, I'm pretty tired of them. What have they won? 3 of the last 6 Super Bowls? And everyone acts like there's no problem. The team that has dominated this decade may have done so dishonestly. I know supposedly everyone does it, but come on.

I'm sure they aren't the only ones cheating. But anyways, what I'm more interested is to see how far they can make it without losing. I just think it would be cool to see a perfect team. Its fun to watch them move down the field and score every time, too.

Sounds like someone carries a Tom Brady lunchbox to school.

Its amazing how much some people hate the success of other teams.

I don't hate successful teams; I don't have anything against the Patriots. I just think that Belichick is an ass, great coach or no, and I wish him ill. More importantly, I have no use for front-running, bandwagoning fans, and I tend to enjoy seeing teams that attract those kinds of fans lose.

But I'm sure you don't know anything about those kinds of fans.

Did you miss the Titans symbol in my avatar? Did you miss that I said I hope the Colts win on Sunday? Do you even know what you are talking about? There has been one undefeated team in NFL history, and I missed them by about 20 years. I enjoy seeing history made, and that is all.

unless they're my team, i fall directly in that category.

i hate the patriots, yankees, cowboys, jeff gordon, jimmy johnson, usc, miami, fsu, florida, notre dame.

if it's not the cubs, red sox, vols, steelers or panthers........i hate the current "best" team.

and i'm not a colts fan by any stretch, cause they are also one of the "best" teams as well. but when all my other teams are out of it, as was the case last year, it wasn't difficult for me to root on Indy over NE, i like Dungy and Manning well enough. And i'll be doing the same Sunday, after that, then i'll be rooting for the Colts to lose next. :)

I don't necessarily hate the best teams, I hate the teams with extra large fan bases. That typically comes from the best teams because of the bandwagonners. I guess it's not fair to the yankees, cowboys, notre dame, etc that I hate them solely due to their fanbase, but i do and I'm not about to stop.

:eek:lol: Very true. It sickened me in elementary school everybody had the big poofy Cowboys or 49er's Starter jackets and they didn't even know who Darryl Johnston or Merton Hanks were. i despised it then and I despise it now.

Blows my mind that this is the first time in the entire NFL history, that two 7-0 or better teams have met.

Doesn't seem possible this would never happen before.

agreed.......for once, the hype surrounding this game is warranted. this doesn't happen every day.

I'll agree the hype is warranted. But as someone who's TV is almost always on ESPN, it does not take long for it to wear thin...
it wouldn't be soooo bad if TB and PM didn't dominate the story lines to beging with, throw a game like this in.......and i can see what you're saying.

Other players were "cheating" during Barry Bonds' time. I'd say quite a few pitchers were juicing. Anyone that hinted Lance Armstrong did any illegal drugs became a villian. Say the same thing about Barry and you're brave and unafraid to tell the truth. As for the Patriots, it just seems like the media is content to ignore it.

I'm still known to rock the Jerry Rice Starter sweatshirt. Is that acceptable?

I just realized I won't get to either. Company 75th Party. They need to learn not to schedule things in the football season! Oh well, the first thing I will be coming home to do is check the score and I too hope that the Pats and TB score it up! :)
