Kendall Rogers write up on CTV concerning the LSU job.......he also had similar "glowing" writeups on O'Sullivan, Godwin, Schlossnagle, and Jarret from Notre Dame.
Tony Vitello, Tennessee
He’s the hottest commodity in college baseball right now. Vitello, 42, has worked wonders during his short tenure at Tennessee. In addition to guiding the Volunteers to an NCAA tournament appearance in his second season with the program, he was on track to do the same last season (15-2) before the season was shuttered because of COVID-19. This spring, Vitello is continuing to work wonders, as the Volunteers had a terrific campaign and are in line to get a top-eight national seed. In addition to being a hard-nosed competitor whom his players fight hard for, Vitello is considered to be one of the nation’s elite recruiters. He’s the son of a highly successful high school baseball coach, and he knows all the intricate details needed to make any program successful. LSU might have to fight off Texas A&M to get Vitello, depending on which direction A&M athletic director Ross Bjork goes with his search.
