Coming after Vitello

Wes can eat one. Everyone knows we’re going to have to up the ante to keep him here as long as we all want him to remain here but Wes writes it like he has one foot out the door already.

If Wes knew half as much as he thinks he does, he'd be a genius.

maybe Y9 can chime in or TXBO

I’m not much of an insider and I’m not a Scotch drinker.

I did have a nice conversation in Lafayette with Ragin’ Cajun football coach, Billy Napier today. I guess that might count for insider status at some point.

So did you convince him to come to Knoxville?

Probably

Probably on conference calls with the AD and coaches agents. They'll bring us to speed soon enough.
I have no contacts in the current administration. Last AD I spoke to was Doug Dickey.

No doubt about it.
There are a lot of people in LA that still haven’t recovered from last year’s hurricane season. We were discussing what we could do to help. Great guy.

No solution yet but he’s never turned down a request to help the community yet.

There are thousand of modest houses that are still covered with blue tarps in Lake Charles. I’m told they can’t afford the deductible to fix them. I’ll probably ask him to do a few free spots so I can raise some awareness and money.

Sounds like a start, lots of stellar musicians down that way, would be glad to help out in any way I can.
