Your side has said over and over firing Comey was obstruction. Now this report says Comey was insubordinate. That is a great reason to fire someone

He got the report a year in advance? If only he would have said that and not he fired him because of the "Russia thing".

He didn't need a reason/excuse but the reason he gave at the time is important to the obstruction investigation. Not only was it appropriate but expected from whomever won the election.

So Trump should have just said things like "I won; get over it" or "elections have consequences" and Dims would have simply rolled over? Yeah, I can believe that.

The Comey memo still looms large, whether you want to accept it or not, as far as the obstruction case goes. "I hope you can see your way to let this Flynn thing go".

I think he could have said about anything other than what he did.

Comey did see fit to let the Clinton thing go - a far more serious matter. Further that decision not to prosecute Clinton wasn't his to make - that's a DOJ decision.

It’s Comeys own recollection of events not corroborated by anything. And Comey really doesn’t have the best credibility at the moment either. Plus the statement by itself really isn’t that damning.

There will be no action against Trump for the firing of James Comey. It was within his article 2 powers in the first place regardless of what he said on why. It was recommended by others including Rosenstein. And the report even indicates Comeys own actions (insubordination) warrant firing.

C'mon y'all recognize this for what it is, a political enemies hit list, the kind of stuff that is the norm in dictatorships. Our law enforcement and intel agencies aren't enemies of the state.
