I hope they release full report unredacted, I just think DOJ and FBI will delay and fight to water it down as much as possible. They don’t want to highlight their misdoings , malfeasance and worse. It’s about maintaining confidence in the department, I just think they’ll sweep as much as possible under the rug somehow.

Do they get to make redactions or are they allowed to offer a statement contesting a claim or statement? That was the process I remember reading but didn’t read anything recently.

That's the problem. Who polices the top level police? It caused an uproar when Trump did it. If agencies in the executive branch aren't answerable to the President, then who?

We, of course, know that disaffected Dims will never agree with governance by the other side, so how do you know when they are speaking legitimately rather than playing politics and crying wolf.
