. While you may look at it as a bad thing, I believe Josh is being conservative because he’s already seen Dayne Davis give up 2 sack fumbles which had our defense in horrible situations. Luckily our defense got us out of those situations, but there’s no reason to make things harder for your defense when they just forced a QB to get benched. Our OL injuries + Venables game plan just makes it hard for him to do that. It also means he’s grown as a head coach. Sometimes you have to win the smart way.
