Cooper Leaving

T_Vol nice to see you still around. But yeah, Holly ain't going nowhere, and as long as she is the coach. I will have her back.

Thanks! Same here - as long has HW is the coach, I'm with her. Not denying issues, but on some of it, her hands are tied, as I mentioned previously.

Like Nike on makes one color of shoes! lol Anyways.
Geez, I feel like I'm harping on this, but did you realize they all pretty much wear a different style of shoe and Alexa always wore white (this past season anyway). Sorry, but if you, they, or anyone else feels they should be allowed
to wear colors outside of the program colors, y'all need to get over that - good grief! We are orange and white (with a little blue thrown in).

Yes, Go Lady Vols. See, I believe Holly can do it! But yea, the PRESSURE, and then the players having to defend and hear the noise of their coach losing their job, its a distraction, and then no one is happy with the product of the floor. No One.
Holly's been in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Time to quit trying to please everybody and put the hammer down. I'm with her!

We both know those issues above are just a tip of the iceberg right?
Yes.

This is new territory for the Lady Vols program. I've never remembered a time where the fan base was this fractured. I never remembered a time, where the lady vols had two digit losing seasons. I never remembered a time when Lady Vols teams weren't tough, I mean we might not have been the best offensive team in the country, but our ladies were always TOUGH!
Agree. See my post above about trying to please everybody.

Do you believe this is a pivotal year for the Lady Vols program?
Yes.

Thanks! And I figured out how to fix the quotes and make them look right! 🙌🏻 (It was driving me crazy!)

You know, it's nice when someone can agree to disagree on some things and not be ugly. I appreciate that!

At the end of the day, we're all Lady Vols fans - that's what matters! 💙🍊🏀

P.S. - I'll let it go about the shoes if you will! 😁😝😋😜

P4L, I really take issue with what I can understand of your post. If you remember your history, slaves did not volunteer to work for the master. They also had little chance to prepare themselves for a future they could determine. And while slaves got a place to live and food, they had little else given to them, except an "opportunity" for backbreaking work, broken familial relationships, and cruelty.

Is the university/player a symbiotic relationship? Absolutely. But it is not a master/slave relationship at all, and comparing young women who get good housing, plenty of good food, travel, an education, AND perhaps exposure to a larger audience for extended basketball opportunities to those generally dire circumstances of slavery is disgusting.

Just my two cents.

You and I both. I love the edits. lol

No reason to get ugly. I know you coming from a positive place, rather than negative. So I can talk to you, others. ugh!

I'll let go of the shoes! Done. Aye, but what about the socks! lol

P4L, you're so different now, what happened to you on your break from the board. All that time allowed for negative vibes to fester and I don't like this new P4L! :(

Don't worry Ladyvols1908.

I will not be bashing Holly or joining the negative circus clown wanting her fired. Plus, I'm not a glass half empty kinda person. And if I'm coming across as negative, call me out. I guess you did that.
Lol. But during that time, I talked a few people and shared what I heard.

But something is going on within the Lady Vols program and I hope Holly can figure it out cos the ladies are not playing hard for her. And I am concerened. What do you think it is?

How do you feel about losing Cooper?

I back Pat and roll with Holly! Better :)

It's possible, when you have three of top five players in the country at their position's returning.

It is a complete travesty to compare slavery to anything associated with the relationship between coaching and players. That is a highly piss poor example.
