What do you think the reason was that we had a no. 20 recruiting class with salvaged commitments last year and a No. 2 class now with the same record? Dooley got CP out of JUCO in an offense that guaranteed playing time and help. That sells itself. Otherwise, the man benefited from Kiffin's EEs his first year and did a horrible job recruiting thoughout his tenure. Malone was ready to go out of state before Butch got here. Whether it's Butch or the optimism of the program, Dooley brings neither factor
