Why don't we let Dools shine Jerrys shoes between quarters on game day.:) I give Dooley hit all the time on here why don't we let him go at least he tried remember nobody would take the job.

Dooley couldn't recruit Vince Dooley! Barbara would be yelling "help Precious" and I'm sure Vince would say nahhhhh I'm good!!

I'd say not. Remember one of the problems Dooley had was that gosh darn lack of in state talent! :rolleyes:

We don't land half these recruits with dooky. But our hygiene, orange dog, and bamboo would be in great shape!

Dooley landed Hunter, Rogers, and Patterson. The fact he couldn't get talent to perform as a unit to produce wins was his issue, not recruiting.

Dooley wouldn't have gotten Malone.

He wouldn't have even called Malone.

He'd have just complained about how difficult it is to recruit to UT.

Meanwhile, at the #2 class in the nation....

I'm not sure why so many have missed the most important sub-text to this thread.

This thread is all about how far we've improved in the recruiting department over the recently departed last regime. Also, it was about the 180 degree turnaround with regards to in-state talent with BuJo and the new regime.

Vol fans, however, have every right to make a little fun of Dooley every chance they can.

I say no CD couldn't flip a coin. I do hope CD lands a job somewhere though no hard feelings towards the guy.
